I like the tips , I think they work Great , Toms service has been Great also . Jim

Put 5 on for customers last week.
I hate working with black tips as I have trouble seeing the edges. Just a bias not a knock against Tom's tips.
I found the back a little harder to sand than the tips that I am used to installing (Moori, Tiger, Talisman, Kamui, etc.)
They cut nice and shaped well. Overall a good tip to install at a reasonable price. Waiting to hear back from my customers.

Although it's been a while since I received my tips, I finally had the chance to install one, for a friend of mine.
The install was a breeze, the tips cut nice, and true up easily. For the hell of it, I used a lathe tool I made for Lepro type pressed tips, one that cuts the radius in one pass. I have not had any success with this tool while installing layered tips, as you would imagine, it rips off the outermost 1 or 2 layers, and you start over.
I took it gingerly of course, and I will state that the Ultra Skin shaped up without any de-lamination. The sole reason I did this was not to see if I could quicken my layered install time, but to get a possible handle on the quality of the layers adhesion. I would imagine that we won't see a lot of lamination problems with these tips, as I have had with the newer Moori's, and some of the Tiger models.
Because I put this on a friends cue, I called him to go shoot a few that night. I only played 3 or 4 games with the tip, but in that short time, I could find no reason not to continue using them.
These tips may just be the best bargain out there, but, as usual, time will tell the complete story.
The service is outstanding, shipping time is great, and of course the price is right also.

I got mine pretty fast and spun two for me-self, shooting leagues this year with them and I love the control. Tnx TOm
