I sent a cue that I picked up to a cuemaker for refinishing. The cue wasnt made by the cuemaker that I am using for the refinish.
The finish was pretty terrible, and I thought it was a "superglue" finish. It had chipped some and worn too. The cuemaker doing the refinish on the cue told me he thought it was laquer sprayed cue. He is telling me it is coming off very very "gummy" and like "sanding wet paint".
I just wonder what some of your horror stories were, and what you thought about finishes that you had to remove.
Is that superglue refinish as bad as I imagine?
