There's NO woops about it !!!

I feel that should be between me and HAN and not anyone else and wanted to know who I was disussing someone else's business with !

I stand behind my work 100% and have replaced countless Ivory ferrules as well as working on every single aspect of the repair business 1000's of times, so when someone like this goes out of his way to bash me publically when I have made every attempt to rectify the problem is completely uncalled for !!!!

I personally think there's a little more behind the motivation becasue he's a player too ...

But in all actuallity I offered to replace the ferrule and tip at my cost and made multiple attempt to r-contact him via cell phone and never heard a peep until now which is months later !


The end result is that he was right there in the same room with me watching the job and Since I made ZERO contact with the Ivory ferrule why should I be 100% monetarily liable for the incident... expecially since this IS the first time that has ever happened in MY presence in the 18+ years I have been doing this ???

You are out of line coming on here publically bashing me for a defective ferrule... paul drexler is not above making a mistake and I am not saying he did... Ivory is a very peculiar bone and since it's grainy alot of varibles can cause it to come apart, chip or break throgh general playing and storing conditions... it's not common but happens.....

I still am willing to replace it for my cost of and Ivory ferrule and tip... just to make you happy and save face... but when you fail to call me back after I made every attempt to rectify thge problem and you go on here showing your ass about it, I think that is definitley uncalled for !

Sounds like a valid argument and that you tried to offer a solution. It really seems, from my perspective, that you need to work on, well...not being so vocal :)

That said...what would an 8 point (points in forearm and butt) with rings cost, approximately?

Your right... but he's making me out to be the BAD GUY and that I am NOT !

Besides If it comes down to it just to make him happy I'll eat the whole bill if that's what is neccessay to resolve this sudden issue, but I just wanted to express the entire scenario's details and try to come to some type of compromise rather than me paying entirely for something I did NOT cause or do !


I need to know what kind of woods your are wanting for your 8-point cue so that I can give you an approx. quote !

ebony forearm, buttsleeve. uh...what about...amboyna burl and that awesome figured wood in the points?

I like dark forearmed cues with lighter/contrasting points. Veneers, too?

No problem....

My base price on custom fitted cues is 350.00 this includes forearm/buttsleeve woods as well as 2 sets of decorative rings as well as the other typicval pieces that make up a cue....

That price includes the ebony unless you want a select grade "solid black" and that is an additional charge....

My prices for points are 25.00-55.00 each depending on the grade and/ or particular exotic burl/wood you might want....

Veneers are usually 2.50-5.00 total price on each prong

I do NOT have amboyna in stock due to its outrageous cost but I will call for price if you are interested !!!

Hope this helps give you a good ballpark of what to expect.....

I do require a 50% deposit and can have your cue to you between 90-120 days !!!
