Did anyone actually get the shaft for $159 shipped? Or was it $169 shipped? Mine was $169.

Can’t blame em after reading this thread. The 24 price might get interesting!Black Friday sale at 159 was 11-23/11-27. Christmas Sale went up 10bux.
USA, I threw the box away already but I think it was from Texas. Don’t hold me to the state though…From USA or VN?
Reg. price is only 199. Helluva deal at that price. Can’t blame em after reading this thread. The 24 price might get interesting!
I think that is correct...tx.USA, I threw the box away already but I think it was from Texas. Don’t hold me to the state though…
It wouldn't surprise me to find the website has been changed to align with actual offering. Thanks for that info. I thought you got to pick either a soft or medium tip installed on the shaft, but as you explained you get a free gift of an extra tip of your choice: soft or medium. As for the website saying that a medium tip comes installed, I'm not seeing that:

I've been looking at the Nebula full carbon cue, and it says the same thing for the tip, and it doesn't provide a choice for a tip.
looks like they changed the wording about tips compared to what I remember seeing in the past. Thanks for that info. 2nd shaft is on the way
Happen to know where in San Antonio? That's local to me. Wonder if there is a brick and mortar location to see what they have to offer?San Antonio, actually.
That is probably a conversation you should have with the rhino people...Happen to know where in San Antonio? That's local to me. Wonder if there is a brick and mortar location to see what they have to offer?
Pretty simple job if you have cuemaker/repairman nearby.I've got my same issue with rhino that has prevented me getting a revo so far. The cue I want to use it on is 5/16-14 flat faced, and these have a pilot.
I asked about 29" and flat faced, they said they couldn't do anything about the pilot, but could do the custom length for $25 more.
Anybody ever just chuck the shaft in a lathe and machine off the pilot so the shaft is flush? Is that possible?

Go to the worst Pho takeout in town. They're storing the shafts in the walk in fridge.Happen to know where in San Antonio? That's local to me. Wonder if there is a brick and mortar location to see what they have to offer?
Good news that they're using proper storage techniques, otherwise the shafts would spoil.Go to the worst Pho takeout in town. They're storing the shafts in the walk in fridge.
