I received this email from my good friend Richard with the XBreaker. I am so sorry to here this about him. Richard has always been a kind hearted man and i hope he can pull through this.

You and your family are in my prayers. Your friend Doug/Stroketrainer

Dear friends,

In late May, I was informed by my doctor that they have found a tumor in my liver. A surgery was performed in June to have this tumor removed. More tests and procedures will have to follow. Your prayers will be greatly appreciated.

It is no longer possible for me to build or market X Breaker due to my health. I really wish to spend as much time as I can with my new born daughter, my wife, and my families.

I want to send this email to thank you all for your support, understanding, and patience, over the years.

Regards,
Richard

Horrible news, but thank you for sharing.

RIchard, our thoughts and prayers are with you. Best wishes from all at AZB, enjoy your life and family with our blessings!

this is truly horrible news. With the mystery of Richards whereabouts now solved, it appears that his concerns should lie solely in saving his own life. Assuming his tumor was/is malignant, the odds are heavily stacked against him. I have had personal experiences with a loved one who faught valiantly against this particular killer, but the sad truth is, the overall success rate with this cancer is extrmely low.

My prayers are with he and his family at this time.

This sounds grave. Richard has always been very nice to me and I grieve for him.

This is terrible news. Richard, if you are reading, know that people are thinking about you and your family and offering our heartfelt prayers for you to beat this.

Have had two friends diagnosed with the same illness, one in the pool world, one not. Just lost one of them about a year ago. The other is doing well, so there is hope. Good luck. God bless you and your family, Richard. Family and health first. The rest is small stuff.

My prayers are with you and your family, Richard. Keep the faith and God bless.

Terrible news about Richard. Based only what I've read about him, and in his postings personally, a stand up guy, hard worker, and true lover of pool/billiards. We sure hope that you can come out on top of this.
Hate to see the end, or even temporary stoppage of the X-Breaker. Never seen one, never played with one, but from what I've heard, a product that could very well be ranked among the radial pin, Uni-Lock, the laminated tip and other technical advances in the "pool tool" industry. Sure would like to see a way somebody could continue to produce the X-Breaker out of respect for Richard to keep his dream going, with profits going towards what most likely will be a very costly battle.
We all look forward to your return.

Oh man, this sucks so bad... I really hope for the best for him... Things like this should not happen to people like Richard... :(

So sorry

to hear about Richard's health problems. Noone realizes just how good they have it until they lose their health. Hope Richard recovers fast and completely.

I sure do hate to lose him in the world of Pool though. His attitude was one I admired and respected. He is always courteous, used Science in his occupation to always trying to improve his product to be the best he could make it. Some people are just content to make a change, label it new, and sell it that way for 10-15 years, but Richard continually tried to improve his products making them better and better while being open for suggestions along the way. His 'Scientific' and 'Academic' type attitude ended up with somewhat Revolutionary type products for all of us to enjoy using.

A personal note: The X2 tip on the X-Jumper is simply amazing, I haven't seen anything like it in 45 years of playing. It is a revolutionary invention on its own.

What a sad news.

Good luck Richard. I hope everything turns out good with you..

All the best to you Richard. I'm sorry I only got to meet you once! Hope to see you well in the future!

This is tragic news, and I can only hope that with Richard's bright spirit and optimistic attitude, he will pull through this trying time. Wishing you nothing but the best, Richard!

Richard-
I have always believed your product to be the best of its kind on the market. More importantly, from the moment I met you I realized that you were a great guy and I've considered you a friend. You had taken steps to try and help me out with a purchase once or twice in the past and helped so many others when they were in need.

If there is anything I can do to help you in your hour of need, please do not hesitate to get in touch with me. Email, PM, or call me (Davey or Roger can get you my number). You are in my thoughts and prayers man.
Regards,
Brian

Get Well Soon.

I am completely shocked to hear about Richard and his health issues.

Although i have never had the pleasure of meeting him i did e-mail him for the 1st time a few months back and not had any response. I assumed at the time that he was merely busy or not had time to reply but it all too clear now that he has more pressing matters to worry about. So just wanted to say.

Get Well Soon Richard.

Hmm, the home page (www.xtremebilliard.com) now simply states "We are not taking any more order until further notice. Thank you very much."

I haven't seen a single person mention getting a refund or cue returned.

Nonetheless, I wonder if this new notice (in particular the "until further notice" part) indicates that they might resume in the future.
