What do you do with your case? Sling it over your back? Check out my new toy.

I've always liked Shadows. I don't know why I don't own one.

Anyway, my first bike had a sissy bar, so I strapped my Joe Porper onto it.

Today, I'm in the same boat, Hal. I've got nothing to strap my case onto, and none of my cases have dual shoulder back pack straps. I only have a single seater on the Sportster, so there's not much of an option to tie the case down to the seat either. Maybe I'll build some sort of rifle holder?

I'd love to know if players with Murnak cases or other cases with the dual straps are able to ride with their case on their back

Bikers riding with pool cue cases got stopped by the police every ten blocks where I came from. I used a house cue or kept a cue at my homeroom when I road my bike. Johnnyt

Nice looking Shadow you got yerself there, Hal. I ride a Kawasaki Vulcan 1500fi. Whenever I ride it to the poolhall I strap my 2x2 case (I never take my best case whenever I'm riding the bike) crossways over my luggage rack with a good, tight bunjee cord. It looks like a wing/spoiler when I'm going down the road :D . In your case, I guess you're just gonna hafta sling your case over your back as I am fairly sure you are not gonna mess up the lines of that sweet bike by installing a sissy-bar/luggage rack combination, right? Ride safe and shoot well, my friend!!!

The rifle holder was gonna be my suggestion. Oh, well. :D. That would look seriously BAD AZZ!!!

Hi Hal. Nice bike.

In the past, I've affixed my case across my handlebars. Lately, I sling it over my back.

There's a bike thread in the NPR, mine is in there, you should post yours there too.

You get yourself a case like this to go with your bike:

or you can also try a golf store for one of their backpack slings that will generally fit on a cue case.

You can go to the local leather shop and have them make you a custom strap that attaches to your case.

You can go to the local alteration shop and have them make you a strap out of nylon and loop back velcro that attaches to your case.

You could find a nice deep backpack and strap your case into it with bunjee cord. Yeah it probably looks a little goofy with half a case sticking out above your head but it would work and be secure.

I think if it were me I'd probably go get a bat bag and put my case in it. Then I'd cinch it up good and wear it diagonally across my bag. When I got to the pool room I'd take out the case and roll the bat bag up and leave it attached to the bike somewhere.

Hope some of this helps.

Place hot babe on back of bike and have her hold it across her lap. :D

Here's the normal progression. Hot Babe arrives. Hot BABE needs cushier seat AND sissy bar, not to mention leather, vest, boots and sexy halter tops :D . You don't go to the poolroom when Hot Babe is riding shotgun  . Sissy bar is there when Hot Babe is absent. Buy bungie cords before price goes up :p ...Sweet Bike...Tom

I have the same problem, I used to strap it across my back like I was Robin Hood and what not. with the case I have now though it doesn't work as well so I have either a pool room day or riding the bike day...

If I had somewhere to strap it I'd be okay, and no seat for the lady to hold it for me...

I'd put something in her lap but it damn sure wouldn't be a pool cue.

Nice bike Hal, Finally I can post with a little knowledge! I have a Harley Ultra Classic, If going to a local hall I just sling the Instroke 3x5 case over my shouder not a whole lot of problem doing this. (yet) If going a distance for example 500 or 600 miles, I tiewrap and bungee cord a Giuseppe 1x1 case to the top of the tour pack luggage rack. I also tape the zipper closed. I have taken the Instroke a couple of hundred miles, and don't feel comfortable with the abuse of tying down with bungee cords. So now I have come to the conclusion at least for me, that the Capone stays home and I take either the Peachuer or Frey when ever on the bike for a longer distance, and if anybody going north or south on I-75 and finds a 1x1 Giuseppe case on the road and the Peachuer is in it , its finders keeper but the Frey I would like that cue back!.............. If it is slung over my back, I cringe at the thought of what would happen to my cue and case if I take a tumble on the bike. :D

I say you get a hold of the guys at OCC and have them fabricate some kind of holder along the side of the bike like a gun rack.
MULLY
and then get a Harley........sorry, Hal, gotta bust your balls a little :D

I think unless you have some sort of pocket where it will actually fit inside the bike you're gonna have that worry.
