Ripped Off by Aubrey's Quay!!

The last PM I received was from Jack saying that "she" wasn't ignoring me and that she would get back to me after the weekend. That was after they had already received the cue that I sent back a few weeks ago, Jack said he was not authorized to give refunds or doesn't have any passwords for PayPal. So before you put your foot in your mouth again just remember that as the buyer I know who I was dealing with and I know what's going on. And I'm sorry but I have to agree with Clever yet again, you talk about speculation then you go and speculate yourself. Do you know for a fact that he's ill? Did you visit him in the hospital? If not then you are just SPECULATING.

It should be here because it's regarding a transaction that was from a post for a cue that was for sale in this forum. Plus I want other AZ'ers to be informed so nobody else gets ripped off.

what's up with all the shouting? and who cares if the guy got sick. somebody should be handling the business and if no one is then this guy got ripped outta cash and he has every right to say what he wants. i have a family owned business and if i kick tomorrow and no one picks up the ball my customers would have a field day talking s*it about me. sounds like your friends with the seller at least a little and if you are, and he is sick i am sorry, but you said your self you called and the phones are turned off. what if jack never does recover. what ever the case this guys out cash and i say let him have at it. if somone is that sick they need people helping with the business so things like this don't happen. i'm tired of people getting ripped off and trying to vent and they get stepped on as bashing the person who burned them. it's b.s.
 
Dealing face to face with a brick and mortar retailer, pimp, etc. may not be as economical as firing $$$ into cyber space it also doesn't have the attendant downside with regards to delivery, quality, etc. As the economy on Main Street continues it's downword spiral it will become an increasingly buyer beware marketplace.

As far as this transaction i won't opine or speculate and simply state that i hope the resolution satisfies everyone.

ther are rules and this pertains to items for sale on this forum and the sellers who represent those items. the op is just trying to warn people that a seller is not responding to attempts to communicate which helps the rest of us buyers not get ripped off. if he dumped this in the main forum people would be all over his ass saying it's not pool related.

I HAVE DONE BUSINESS WITH JACK IN THE PAST, AND CONSIDER HIM A FRIEND...... AND YES THE PHONES ARE TURNED OFF.

I have Jack's address, if he can't communicate through the computer then I guess I will have to write him a letter and send via mail. Either way, doesn't look good for me in terms of getting a refund :(

Personally...im all for if you sell cues on here, you should at least have a membership. Its a small price to pay to be a member of such a great community.....thats just me though
