Ripping people off is great.....

It amazes me that people are willing to ripoff other people considering how small the pool community is.

How do you even try to ripoff the very own community that you enjoy making friends with and playing the game at a pool room.

This means you can't even show your face at a pool hall.

Ask guys like Russian Kenny!

He will be at it in a few days at SBE.

Nothing ever happens to the people that rob. They are con artists and just find another mark.

Russian Kenny

At Derby City he borrowed a large sum of money from Mars Man and ducked him. Mars Man started a post about it here. No word of him paying off, ure he didn't. He lost 7K to a 16 year old and stiffed him. No doubt he lost his ass at DCC like every eventbfor the past year.

What a POS. He will be barking and playing the fool at SBE. Guys just think hes so cool, Mr. Big Time gambler. Easy to play the big shot with stolen or borrowed money that you are never going to repay.

Good luck next week Mr. Airbarrel, hope he falls flat on his face, again.

Wait a minute.. Let me get this straight.. He thought it was a sound investment to loan 7k to a 16 year old? I'm sorry he got ripped off but man that's not a sound business decision I gotta say.

When I think of your statement, it reminds me of the movies where they took out an entire vault of gold or whatever. It was a movie anyway.

When I read about these trivial little rip offs going on for cues and such, I have to shake my head.

Myself, I have a very bad conscience, which is a good thing. I believe in my Creator and Karma. I realize that some of these cue maker rip offs are into a 1000 or more but some of these scams are for a 100 or so.

I find it hard to believe that a person can be at peace with himself hurting others financially. Over a few hundred. The damage that one does to their Karma or spirit far out weighs the monetary gains.

I guess this kind of shit happens every day in the world of finances. People can be on top of the world and the next day get crushed by their adversaries.

But still, we're talking in our little pool world that we live in. Cues and gambling.

People have lost their lives over a few hundred. I would rather have a clear conscience and not have to look over my shoulder constantly.

However, I am currently working on an invisible mail box so there is no place to put bills.

Also thinking that a log cabin up north isn't such a bad idea also.

You got it wrong he didn't lend money to a 16yr. old. What's his name lost 7k to the 16yr. old.

Mars loaned money to him.

I never loan money to someone that I can't afford to just write off. I've seen this kind of thing over and over, especially when it involves pool players and gambling. If you rip me off it won't be because I gave you a large sum of cash, it will be you taking something from me whan I'm not looking. Seen it too many times, a loan by some is considered a gift, not a loan.

There is a saying that goes something like this.

If I loan you 20 dollars and never see you again, it is probably worth it.

You might be wrong. Some of them end up with no front teeth and the fear of ever walking into a poolroom again.

The good part, is looking down and delivering the message "This message is from _______."

This is the sh*t that I just don't get. If Russian Kenny is dumb enough to rip people off for large sums of money...then make himself available to the public by showing up to high-profile pool tournaments...then why don't the ones that got ripped-off just show up there too and collect some bone fragments from Russian Kenny's skull???

I can tell you that if he had ripped ME off for a large sum of money, then made himself available by showing up to a high-profile event that I knew he was going to attend...one of us would wind up in a hospital, and the other one in jail.

People don't seem to have the balls they used to have.

Maniac (Cracktherack has got it right!!!)

Yeah, but the saying never was "If I loan you $7,000 and never see you again, it was probably worth it."

We seem to think alike. Old school taking care of business !

Me first...and greed

Doing things for personal gain is a natural survival instinct in all animals.

The human animal is different because we add greed to the mix, which leads to selfishness and dishonesty.

We learn this by way of role models, and it will never change until we abandon our concept of "superiority" over one another...the illusion that justifies unethical behavior.

I know what you mean...

Yesterday I bought some chips and bean dip from a gas station convenience store and the lady totaled it up to 3.06.

I stopped for a second and then said, I think that's wrong (the bean dip was 3.?? by itself.

Sure enough she had forgotten to add in the bean dip.
