Don't you folks get it? When the promoters say Bonus Ball is the future of pool, they meant it! Above (and in lieu of) all else! No other events matter!

IMO they're still making a big mistake by letting random people (players, the camera guy, etc.)
make announcements on their behalf. Their return should be announced by a professional PR person
with a specific date and time for the first match, something set in stone.
Then of course that match must actually happen.

Vague posts about "it might start again around january" just reinforce that image they have,
that everything is wishy washy and up in the air and you cannot trust the dates they give.

Totally agree with this statement! We need to try to be positive, AND be SUPPORTIVE! I love pool, so to me anything pool is good, except the negativity!!!
 
I might be in the minority but I hope they get it straightened out and working. I like the game way more than I thought.

Hope all the players get their dough and the show goes on
 
At first I thought it was a bit contrived but in reality, when you've got Strickland, JJ, Archer, Hatch, Deuel, Appleton, Hohmann, Immonen, Schmidt, (hopefully) Frost, and others, playing each other regularly in this league, and you can hear them discuss with each other their strategy, I think it would definitely be awesome.

I'm rooting for it to come back now. I think it's a good option for pool, and I think people that want it to fail are just being petty and vengeful.

But get rid of the football jerseys!

I hope it comes back too. But only if someone re-engineers the scheduling conflicts, simplifies the game a tad, shortens the season, has verified $$$, ships Cleary's GD T-Shirt and has a business model that is sustainable.

In short, I hope someone with superior cognitive ability tries to tackle BB before the blisters on our typing fingers get infected.

What KK9 said!!

1. I hope not to see 30 different threads of rumors, etc daily until it does start up.
2. I hope players learned from their mistakes and don't just come back blindly. IF it is legit, the players need to unite and demand a sign on bonus or guaranteed up front money for their pay at least escrowed.
3. Players, or at least captains of each team should have a sit down with the investors, and the organizers until they fully understand the short term, and long term objectives, as well as the business plan.
4. Business plan should have key milestones that tell the players it's proceeding as expected, or things are slipping.

I don't believe the original plan had, nor spent $2m on their attempt. And I don't need to see all of the above. I hope it works, and I hope the players come into it better prepared for all outcomes.

All that being said, wake me when it's real and we'll go from there.
 
goodluck guys!!! i hope you finally get it. scams or not, there is no other place but to trust the older guys like Johnny. Look at the filipino guys, still looking to find their place, but still nothing.
