I believe you mean the WorldPPA, which replaced the USPPA after POS Toni Annigoni stiffed a bunch of people.
You're absolutely correct. My bad!

You say that like it's a good thing for him. I feel it's the root of his problems- no accountability. He thinks he's free to do whatever he wants to just because he's good at pool.
Hey for you guys who want to pretend this is just a simple disagreement and its all a matter of some equivalence on both sides. First thing is Rodney went to Marks event participated, won and then badmouthed him in more ways than we know. To believe he stopped at facebook and public forums would make you gullible IMO. Mark responded to being attacked publicly by banning Rodney from Mark's events. The ball is in Rodneys court and the word you RAhRAhRAHDNEY cheer folk are dancing around is APOLOGY. How does that grab ya?
There's definitely accountability, he's been banned from all things CSI/Mark Griffin; which is Mark's right to do. Rodney however is free to voice his opinion on things just as everyone here is as well.
Come here Rod, I want to show you something.
Whats that?
The door.
Here comes a statement that might cause a flame war.
While I don't condone or agree with what he apparently did, I am not entirely sure evicting him as a spectator is legal unless he did something on the premises to warrant eviction.
It's a very complicated area of law usually governed by state torts. A hotel is considered an area available to the public.
I would be very careful if I were Mark or in charge of hotel security to document any wrongdoings. His prior statements would not be sufficient in my opinion.

I was referring to the part where you said he doesn't care what others think. And, if that is true, he's an idiot. Where does he think sponsors come from??
These Rodney threads have become comical. Anyone who thinks him being in Reno and showing up to the event was 'malicious' needs to screw their head back on. You people are treating the guy as if he's a terrorist.
I'm pretty sure that CSI leased the space inside the hotel. Those spaces are no longer public. CSI is within its rights to secure their leased areas. Particularly if they have reason to believe that a person is dangerous. His prior statements are very much germane.
This thread reminds me of every thread started about Earl after hes done something foolish. There are those who point out what a great player Earl is and what he does for the game. Others point out what an idiot he is for disrespecting the game or an official.
Seems there are always those willing to accept poor attitudes because the individual is too good for the game. Happens in football, baseball, chess, pool or everyday life. Personal responsibility always appears to be the first casualty.

Possibly. Simply put, hotel contracts merely place liability on whoever signs.
In terms of public accommodation, it varies by state.
Here, it's very simple:

Beware - Nevada law has protections for "expression" as well as race, religion, etc.
I know someone who sued under similar circumstances. She lost because of her own actions on the premises, but had sufficient grounds to sue, get to court, cost everybody a ton of money etc.

It very well could be "Malicious" if some one is intentionally going some where in pursuit of a "Lawsuit" as some have eluded to.
Why go some where that has already said "YOU ARE BANNED" ????
I await your answer to my question!
I am certain what ever the reasons they could have waited till the event was over! Or been handled via phone/text and the individual could have met Rodney at another location!
The Rodney Morris fan club is really ridiculous! Their post show that they do more harm to their friend/ idol then they have done good. Just too DUMBo to realize they are the reason this topic has not been brushed under the rug and remains on the front page of the forum for 3 straight days. You want to help Rodney Morris then stop posting, the forum will lose interest when no one is stirring the pot like his greatest fans!!!!

First, what lawyer's going to take a case from somebody without any income?
Second, he'd have to prove his case.
Third, that would be biting the hand that's feeding quite a few pros.
Lastly, who the hell would want somebody around if they prove themselves to be a huge liability?
