Romanian player in town looking for action

One pocket.org

Check our one pocket.org. I think it was in the members section. There is a thread started by some guy going by Mr 3 cushion about this. It appears to be a cut and paste job from the beginning of this thread. Some poster is saying the guy is playing $50 sets?

Check it out, Seems small

Well,I don't know on which photo did you mean, but on the very first photo that JAM has posted is Vilmos Feldes.:wink::wink:

yes its Vilmos

he agreed to the first offer of $500 to play Amar then Amar said he was tired to wanted to reschedule

if he sticks around hardtimes he'll get action but think he is purely rotation player

I know a lot about Vilmos.

If you do a search on this forum, you can see what I wrote about him 10 years ago on his first visit to the Open in Virginia. ;)

haha, thats two Norwegian guys, they don't know diddle squat about one-pocket :-)

That explains volumes that they are from Norway. They were about as friendly as you are on this forum, having such nice comments and lovely remarks to others.

If you interpret what this usually means it comes out to:

I already know who he is.

I can beat him playing 1Pocket and 10 Ball even up.

Because of these two things I'll offer to bet 10 thousand.

I don't know either of them but Bartram is not a good 1Pocket player unless he's improved quite a bit. That means the Romanian guy probably can't play it at all.

I've been wrong before.

ONB

With all due respect, you don't know Chris Bartram. He doesn't have to have the full scoop on a guy before playing him. He's ready to get down in the dirt with just about anybody, and better yet someone unknown to him. I think he figures that if the guy is not well known then he can't be that good. Just about all the top players are on the radar already.

Even if the guy is a very good player, Chris plays good enough to protect himself, if you get my drift. No one will take advantage of him on the table, that's for sure. Chris is an "old school" rounder or "cross-roader" we used to call them, who isn't afraid to get out there and take a chance or two. Sometimes it even pays off with a nice score.

I know I made some of my best scores as a youngster going into uncharted territory and playing guys who all I knew about them is they liked to bet it up. If I heard about a guy who played Straight Pool for fifty bucks back then or 20 a game Eight Ball on a bar table I went looking for them.

Let's start with the US citizens

SVB
Archer
DeChaine
Moore
Hatch
Rodney
Earl
Cleary

Is my list correct and I missing anyone ? A rematch with Josh - Yes or No

Bartram says take Moore off the DNP (do not play) list. Stevie won easy last time but it seems even now that he has CTE, he has avoided a rematch.

I do hope your feet are comfortable in your shoes. :)

I hope you're comfortable in YOUR shoes.....
...seems like the dog in your avatar pic is in disguise.....
....and there are reports of pet supply stores being robbed.

We're talking' aiding and abetting here

:yikes::yeah:

sorry for my delayed response been away

yes it this guy, so railbirds in there were saying he was Romanian or maybe he said that to stay under the radar

he shoots good though like I said torched Amar Kang on the hardtimes equipment is not easy to do, id like to see him match up with someone for big action, I think amar wants another crack at him

When I think of Romania I think of great dance songs like these

But seriously this guy could be one of those guys who recently played in Darren's 1st Dynamite Open in Romania
Mark my words , Darren may be the guy who pushes pool in Eastern Europe into another level :D

I could see that you weren't there when I was looking after for Wendy a few weeks ago.So.probably that's why you cannot be aware of the situation.
Anyway,good to see you here
:wink::eek::wink::eek::wink::eek::sorry:

Only rotation action is probably Amar. One pocket, he can get more action.

This the first of the month Weekend coming up and there is one pocket on Saturday and nine ball on Sunday. Some out of town players usually show up for both tournaments.

The player maybe hanging around NorCal waiting for the next Mezz Tournament in San Francisco the following weekend, November 8,9. He has already won one if it is Vilmos. He can play.
