Anyone who seen the video can tell me some details maybe. Why is Ronnie playing one hand many of the shots? (not that is is playing bad one hand pool, i mean omg this guy can hit). Where did they play, and is the rumoured 5 ahead for 10K real, i mean i think onlyin my dreams i would play for 10k one handed.

They were playing partners. Keith and Harry were one team, and Ronnie was his own partner. During one inning, Ronnie would shoot with both hands, and during his next inning, he would shoot with one hand. That was how this game was handicapped, as Ronnie is a much better 1-pocket player than either of his two opponents. Any dollar amounts from these guys isthe real deal.

AND don't forget to check out Jimmy Mataya trying to side-bet with Harry between games. Jimmy was putting his money on Ronnie Allen! Man, Keith sure was skinny then! :p

JAM

I had a friend of mine tell me that he was in Vegas one time at a tourney as a spectator, I think in the late 80's and there was a guy at the practice tables offering a proposition, he would put the cueball almost in the jaws of a corner pocket and an object ball right in the middle of the table lined up dead straight with the corner pocket at the other end, the bet was $100 he couldn't pocket the object ball at the other end and draw the cb back into the pocket where it was jawed, 9 foot table / he got 3 tries / ONE HANDED JACKED UP!!!, my friend lost $100 and he was the only taker, I asked what the guys name was , he answered Ronnie something? :)

Where can this video be found online? I used to see it on YouTube but its not on there any more.

The best line in that whole match is after Jimmy has been rattling on for about an hour

Keith: hey, why don't you show a little respect, cause you're pretty boy floyd and we don't care about that

Jimmy: oh yeah, well you're grady seasons so what

These guys didn't just wake up one day and decide to play for 5figure$ or with 1 hand. They worked their way up to both. Goodness, can you imagine how many strokes the 3 you mentioned have taken!? The # would be almost incomprehensible.

Even crazier would be to know how much $ these 3 have been through. Each probably more than most of us wiill see in life. The also don't see $ like the avg. person. Its not better or worse- just different!

What a move

Too funny if they were playing for that kind of money. Keith shooting for the wrong pocket and banks one in for Ronnie. As it turns out that shot wins the game for them as Ronnie sells out balls on a miss he should have made. Looks like this was taped at the Sands in Reno. Looks like their setup in the old days.
