Very happy for the man. Looks like Ronnie is still out there swinging and winning.
Inspiring!

I felt like when Ronnie was playing Bingham he was practicing safety play. He seemed to be playing into championship form.

Very fun match to watch. I like the way both play. Ronnie and his safeties during the 8th frame ( i think ) were unreal

I watched both Sessions 1 and 2. Clearly, Neil was the most proficient player in Session 1, but Ronnie capitalized on a few errors which miraculously tied the score 4-4 at the end of Session 1. Neil was making long shots that were incredible. Ronnie wasn't the Ronnie of old, but he came with it when he needed to. When I saw him walking on the balls of his feet and he had his in-the-zone face on, I knew he would win it. Great final to the World Grand Prix. My favorite player won it.

Here's a few screenshots I took from the live stream. I'd love to know who the man with long hair is. He sits front row at most of Ronnie's tournaments, and when Ronnie won, he rushed into the stage, grabbed Ronnie's cue, and the two men hugged, laughing and enjoying the win. It must be a good friend or a coach.

Another photo of Ronnie's bestie. I've seen him at the Scottish Open, front row, the German Open Qualifiers, and at many, many other snooker events with Ronnie.

The precision demonstrated in the safety play was amazing. It bogles my mind that they can put the white on a dime after traveling 20+ feet.

his shrink maybe. at one time he had a coach, a mental coach and a shrink on his team.
Ooh, I just found out by reviewing my Facebook photos. I remember Luke Riches of Matchroom fame comments on a photo I posted when Ronnie won the 2020 World Snooker Championship. He was there with his lady, Laila Rouass, and this man. Luke said it is "a longtime family friend."

The difference between first and second place money was $80,000. That's sufficient to focus the mind. I'm impressed that they can do it without diamonds on the table. Ronnie's safeties were Selbyesque:

That kind of stuff has to leave a mark! On your opponents brain 😉

Man, great to see him still pulling off these great victories! Hopefully he's on his game in April.

Ronnie made one shot in the 6th frame that took me six attempts to replicate on my table…and that’s with me knowing it was possible and zero pressure.

I would have given him 20% odds in the final. Glad to be wrong.

At times 0’Sullivan is like one of those idiot savants that just gets on a different plane of perceiving reality and performs some miraculous feat…except he’s not an idiot.

From 7-5 down, he was awesome.

I noticed the idiots online who said he would never win again are not offering apologies etc.
