Roomba - can it clean a pool table?

Be careful using any vacuum on the table unless your slate seams are filled with was. I vacuumed my table a few years ago and the rock hard putty between the slate pieces pulled in bits and pieces under the cloth. Bad move that I've never repeated. I use wax now, so it might be ok. Not trying it though.

Yes it does. The model 500/600 has a very soft rotating brush, softer than the standard table brush. When I bought my place I would see my staff in a cloud of chalk when cleaning tables. Got Simonis X1s and that stopped the dust but took too long. I got the Roomba and the staff love it because it cleans the tables while they do other tasks. It even gets under the rails ... but top of rails still need a wipe down. If you have just one home table get a Simonis X1. If you got 14 or more tables get a Roomba.

Yes

I use one on mine and have noticed no issues whatsoever. They also use one on the Diamond tables of the club i frequent.

Do you also run it on open tables during business hours? The customers might get a kick out of it.

It's a start... A robot that can move from table to table will save time and energy.

The best part of the idea is the leap that will eventually be made to a robot that racks the balls.
