Tops of John's Set

Bob's Scrims on John's caps..
They look so neat "in hand".
They look old like those Scrimmed Whale Tooths..
John, you going like these!!!

Very, very tasteful caps! This is a perfect tribute to a Legendary cuemaker!

Congratulations,
Chris

OH MY GOD ALTON THESE ARE PERFECT!!!!! Man, you and I know I waited a good while for this cap set and it was definately worth it. I kept imagining how they would look. I knew what the butt cap would look like but I could not wait to see the shaft caps also.

These caps are so far beyond what I thought they would be. Too bad I won't be able to see them until March!!! Thank you Alton. I guarantee you and Bob will be getting more work from me in the future.

It killed me over the last few weeks seeing you post everyone's completed cap set in the gallery and now mine are here!!!!!!!!

John<-----Christmas came late but it was worth it!!!

Looks great Alton! and Congrats to John, the fantastic set of caps totally compliments your great cue!

Those are awesome. The shaft caps look like antiques.
That's what I love about them. The antique look. It compliments my old school Gus very well.

Initially the shaft caps were only supposed to have 1 and 2 and say Gus Szamboti but Alton suggested we do the shading to match the butt cap. Bob took it upon himself to do the the shapes on the sides of the shaft caps and man these came out great.

I feel truly blessed and could not be happier with this cap set.

Wow!

I've got to say, thank you John, Alton and Mr. Bob Hergert.
These cue caps are really awesome. I have to admit that it
hit me hard to see my Dad on the cap. I mean that in a good way.

Thank you all for you combined effort in honoring Dad!

Barry, I am truly honored to see that you approve of this cap set. Having this cap set for my Gus makes the cue that much more special for me. And, to see that you like them well, makes it so much better.

Thank you for the comment. I will treasure this cue and cap set for as long as possible. These next couple of months are going to kill me knowing I have these waiting for my return back to the Motherland.

Thanks again Barry, John
