The San Diego Classic is a WPBA event so you can follow it on WPBA.com. Starts on Thursday, April 19, I believe.

Unless you know something i dont, there are no WU sisters- I think it's Ram. But in any event, neither will be there. I don't know of any first timers for SD.

Zhou looks like a near lock for Vegas though. She just has to win at most one more match in NJ today over Buffie. She is a big favorite although she is missing much more today i just heard.

I don't find any win for her on their website. Maybe she's not listed in the standings for 2006 because she's not a member. Johnnyt
 
Should be a great tournament with Jasmine, Pan, and about ten others that could win it. No more cake walks for Allision or Karen. I wouldn't bet against them though. Johnnyt

She hasn't qualified to play at Viejas - that I know of. I hope that she stops by after Korea to watch.

Yeppp... it will be a great tournament. There are really about ten players who can win this one. The level of women pool is top of the bill at the moment....a few years ago there was only Allison, Gerda and Karen that where the names to take any win. Pfff.. it's to bad we do not have big tournaments like this over here!
 
How I see it

This is how I see it…what do you think

One of these three should win it.

2/1 Xiaoting Pan= Could repeat

5/2 Jasmine O= Always dangerous

5/2 Allision Fisher= A champ finds a way

These wouldn’t be a surprise

4/1 Karen Corr= Always comes to play

4/1 Ga Young Kim= Needs to stay focused

4/1 Kelly Fisher= Alt break took away from her

Not out of the question with some good draws and rolls

6/1 Monica Webb= Bridesmaid for awhile now

8/1 Vivian Villarreal= Never know

8/1 Jeanette Lee = I’d love to see it

10/1 Gerda Hofstatter = Would be shocker

10/1 Helena Thornfeldt = Needs to hit another gear.

10/1 Tiffany Nelson = Alt break has hurt her too
