I ran across this site.

Check out the prices, insanely low.

I was searching for info on a cue that sells in the $700 range, and they have it listed for $148.

The address is a house in Texas.

Somebody in TX should drive down to their address and check them out.

I can't speak to this site specifically, but there are TONS of websites like that all over the web that are scams. They still manage to scam plenty of people because the websites are pretty well done, and because the prices are so low that people say to themselves "well I know it very well could be a scam, but for that low of a price I'm willing to take a gamble," and then they do.

On the scam sites the address listed often isn't their real one. They just know that by putting an address it puts people more at ease and they are just going to pay digitally anyway.

There are a lot of gullible pool players out there; but I'm guessing there are other fields of endeavor targeted?

I mean, you run across people w/out any critical thinking skills, but not any who would actually fall for something like this, surely:

There are lots of them.

The owners of the website might actually be in Sri Lanka.

I took a quick look at the site. I forgot to use an anonymous/incognito window. Oh, well.
No worries. I wouldn't have posted it if it was a risk. I checked it out.

I know it's a scam.

This one must be new. Nothing on the web about it and even the usual sources don't ID it as a scam site.

Yeah, there's no doubt the site is bogus, I think it needs to be reported. I ran across one of these sites a couple of months back, they were selling Palmer second catalogue cues for less than $100 new. I sent them an email to ask them where they got the cues from and they never responded. These sites are designed take advantage of a certain kind of person. All I can say is buyer beware.

Good catch DOC.

Anyone remember sc5 or whatever his screen name was? Used to like to make sweat bets during the live streams. He was ok when he was collecting. On the other hand... He was somewhere in Texas. Probably just trying to build his 401k. Thomas someone???
