Scott Frost is Derby City Classic One Pocket Champion

2nd place and then 1st place back to back years is ridiculously amazing. Nice shootin Freezer.....
 
Scott has the right to call himself the best One Pocket player in the world. He beat Efren for the cash and two days later won the DCC title! Pretty strong showing all around.

Fantastic finals and a fantastic fight from Sylver Ochoa getting thru Francisco Bustamante, to get to Frost.

It could have gone Sylver's way very easily, beings he had Scott down 4 to -1 in the hill game. Scott picked off some nice banks to tie it up and didn't fold after that.

Sylver made Scott's game ball, shooting a very tough shot at this pocket, which he made.

Congratulations to both players, there were no 8 and outs in the finals, just excellent one pocket with alot of moving and shooting.

It was highly entertaining and Billy Incardona, once again, showed why he is the best commentator in the business.
 
That one pocket tournament was fantastic, Scott had to work his ass off for that win. He got steam rolled last year by a ball runner who was playing some straight pool on him. This year he got to come with it, shot making, moving, trapping...it was great. That Sylver guy, when he starts to shoot a little straighter is gonna give everyone fits. If he made more balls he woulda ran over Busty. Good tourney and Congrats to the "other" Frost man!
 
It's great to hear that Frost won. It couldn't happen to a more deserving guy, especially after that silly loss last year in the finals. Now if Scott does real well in the 9-ball, he could win the all-around.

Scott "The Freezer" Frost has been known as one of the best in the world at One Pocket for quite some time now. After his showing at his past 2 DCC tournaments, I believe he is #1.
