THEY ARE MAPLE BLACK MAPLE BLACK. VERY CLASSY LOOKING.
 
recut veneers i think....could be mistaken..

yea i'm pretty sure dennis said they were recuts, ebony and bleached maple if i'm not mistaken, my buddy bill used to own this cue, it is really nice and worth every penny, bill, dennis and i took this cue into the , i believe the ICS show in west palm beach, and it turned alot of heads... pissing off the other cuemakers... it was a good time. cue is classy and perfect... sorry just some added flashback info. jim

Why would a 4 point hoppe piss anyone off? Just curious.
 
no reason to redirect this thread...

a couple of the cuemakers were acting like jackasses for letting martine, whatever her name is, take some photos for the bluebook of cues . they were just bent out of shape. i don't know why. probably because when it came out of the case every psycho at the show crowded wanting to buy it and dennis didn't have a booth there at the time. just a couple of disagreements...

You can't show up to a show selling or showing cues without a booth when every other seller has paid for booth space to show and sell their wares. This is a no-brainer.

NOW, ONTO A MORE SERIOUS NOTE, UNLESS YOU KNOW THE CUE MARKET, STAY OUT OF OTHER PEOPLES THREADS. HAVE YOU BOUGHT OR SOLD ANY CUSTOM CUES WORTH MORE THAN 1K? HAVE YOU BOUGHT OR SOLD ANY OF DENNIS' CUES? I DOUBT IT...... SO UNTIL YOU HAVE USEFUL INFORMATION, GO TRASH SOMEONE ELSE'S THREAD.
 
I apologize for trashing your thread. I just cannot see why or what makes this cue so desirable. A plain 4 point veneered cue from a living cuemaker. I promise I could get Dennis to make me a cue like this for much less!!!!

Yeah, He would make it cheaper.... 6 years from now if your lucky you will get it. Dennis is a friend of mine and the wait is years still... He builds a perfect cue, Your gonna wait and pay either way. Nice cue Marcus...... Worth every fricken penny!!!!!!!

If he builds perfect cue so i should buy this cue so that i will become a perfect pool player too..:)...but nonetheless its a beautiful cue and a fair price....goodluck on your sell Marcus...
