this market is finicky these last few years. it seems like it gets worse every year. Considering it's a conversion and not a custom built Searing. It makes it a little less desirable. Not saying that it's not in demand by the searing collectors but you get the point.

The key selling points for searings are...its it 2004 or newer? does it have the half ss joint?...how many veneers are there? and finally how many infinitely small inlays did he magically create to perfection?

In today's recession induced market you could get a conservative anywhere between $2.5 - $3.5K...but your best bet is to raffle it off.

The rings and wrap do not look like Dennis's work.

Check with Dennis. You may or may not have a old Sly cue there.
Nick :)

its a searing I got it from a very respectful cue collector and he knows for a fact its a searing he also told me when he had it some people took some hits with the cue and told him they would put this cue up against any of dennis fancier cues as far as play of the cue

thanks for the help guys had a few people with offers but i have more into the cue then what offers are i know the market is bad so i might just hold on to the cue

I use to own this cue...cliche to say I know but it's true. This cue is in fact a Searing that I got from a guy named Jazbo in Hollywood Florida he had the cue for ten years and I pestered him enough to finally get it out of his hands when it was stuck in Searing's shop awaiting refinish. I use to go visit Dennis a lot and watched this cue get completely refinished. It plays fantastic, only reason I sold it was to invest the money in my business. In retrospect I should have kept it cause the business didn't go anywhere but that's okay I have a Southwest coming next month. This cue dates from I believe about 1994 and the longer shaft was the original and Dennis thinks it "might" have been a cue Buddy Hall used hence the longer shaft. When I had Dennis refinish it he made a new shaft. Originally I had him put Cortland on it but I didn't care for it so I went with an all black linen wrap. Then I sold it to a big collector.

Thanks for all the pms and help with the price 3000 seems like a deit asking price from your inputs
