Second DW Envelope Case w/ Western Floral Tooling F/S or Trade!!!

Hi All,

This is a rare opportunity to own a handcrafted and tooled 1x2 envelope case by DW Cases in Phoenix. The maker has been showcased in the Cue Gallery:

This is one of his newest cases. Several people said that they would love to have an envelope case, but would like theirs to be a little simpler, so I asked the maker to make a couple of cases that would still have his amazing workmanship and style, but would be a little less ornate.

The prices also reflect the fact that there is a substantial savings in man hours on this tooling, subsequently offering an attractive price to someone for a handcrafted custom cue case.

Until this sale, the cases have only been offered to people that had expressed a desire to be on a waiting list. These are the first DW cases that been offered for outright sale to the public. This is DW case #6, which offers full hand tooling in the front with an unadorned back. The maker said the piece of leather on the back was one of the nicest pieces he'd ever seen, and he just thought he'd leave it plain for contrast. It is a gorgeous case, and my pics sure don't do it any justice!

The price on this case is $750 shipped in the continental U.S. Thanks for looking and please let me know if you have any questions!

Steve

Real nice case Steve. I took mine to the golf course today and me and my son played a few rounds of 1pkt after 18. Got a lot of compliments on the case.

Tommy,

Glad you like your case! It's a little hard to describe the work that goes into these rascals and my pictures suck. Always good to get feedback from major case afficianados like yourself, though.

That Cash Cue I got from you was a real beauty, by the way! Bill McDaniel might be retired, but the soul of his business lives on with Tommie and June!

Take care, my friend!

I know money is tight right now, so I might be interested in trades, as well...

Does DW Cases have any sort of web site, or other facility to display his work? Thanks.

Hi,

Not at this time. These are his 5th and 6th cases. The others are all in Cue Gallery, and if you search the links above, it will give you a general range of what the maker is capable of producing.

Thanks for looking!

Hey Tommy,

Your case was the fourth one made and was the first case offered to the public. The first three were made for a collector who had seen his work early on and literally commissioned them. Case #4 was the first to "break the mold" and was a unique design not based on his previous three. Yours was the first one to have the brown suede interior and the second to utilize rigid tubes that have become his "standards". The lid on yours was the nuts, too. Lots of hand work and fitting.

I hope you enjoy it for years to come, Tommy!

Best always,

Steve
