Hi I'm selling my cue, This cue was given to be from my grandfather when I was 16 I'm now 41 I use this stick every week in our local tournaments and have been told it's a balashka, I'm selling my stick because I am trying to get my daughter and granddaughter home from Alaska.. So if you know of anyone who would be interested in buying please contact me as soon as possible
Thank You

The best way to get a response is going to be to post pictures and a price that you are looking for, otherwise you might receive some nasty posts on here. Good luck on the sale.

You're new, so I'll take it easy on you. You are going to have a whale of a time selling a Balabushka on here for anything more than $100 without any sort of picture, and be prepared to use an escrow service when selling it. Balabushkas are worth thousands of dollars, but no one will go near you with one red cent unless the cue is authenticated. There are too many crooks out there saying they have a real "Balabushka" trying to make a quick buck off an unsuspecting buyer who thinks he has stumbled upon the deal of the century.

Pics, please.

I'm not trying to sound smarter than I am, but since you are new here I would recommend posting pictures of the cue in the main forum and asking for someone to identify the cue before you sell it. I'm not saying it isn't a Bushka, I don't know what it is but there are some experts here who can help you identify it.

Good luck with your sale.

As mentioned, Palmer or Paradise. Possibly Adams, Viking or Mali as well (hard to tell from 1 joint pic).

Either way, it looks like a nice old piece of pool history, but not enough to get anything but a postcard from Alaska...

ok now...

Felix -Since when does PM sent mean I will Take it ???

Sorry.. just figured you would.. :) no harm intended. Its a nice piece, not sure if its a good piece or the other type of piece ;)

Just trying to learn a little here.

Felix

In the first picture it looks like the shaft trim ring is missing a huge chunk, I would think that would greatly impact playability.

I'm leaning towards an old Viking. I have a teammate that breaks with a super old Viking that looks just like that, except it has an engraving of his name on the buttcap. I'll post pictures tomorrow if he comes to leagues tonight.

I would think either Karl Mayer or Mike Fedunka. I had this Mayer that looked very similiar. Classic Cues has a Mayer brochure on their website...

I am unsure what type of cue this is but, I do have some idea's. However, I am almost certain this is not a Viking, or any other production cue.

Here are some photo's that I down loaded for the cue in question.
