Semi Permanent Chalk Stain On The Palm Of Your Bridge Hand?

Does anyone else have this problem? Maybe I play on "dirty" tables or play too much and grind it in, or both?

I know the heel of my palm is pretty tough skin...but I'm tired of using Scotch Brite to get it clean.

Wearing a glove doesn't work...the heel of your palm is still exposed?

the blues

I use a brass scrubby, my hands are very callused. I only have a problem with one of my tables. I don't know why I vacuum them both. However I hate gloves.

It's not just the heel of the hand...it's also under the fingernails... dig in with your middle two fingers when using an open bridge...ala Johnny Archer.. the same bridge I use.

What does a Pool Playing Doctor do to sanitize her/his hands prior to smacking on the surgical gloves? Without using a rasp on your hand and still stay moisturized?

Where is Chop Doc?

I need help with chalk up my nostrils.
Don't mind the blue nose, but it seems to affect my mental game.

Prior to gloves?

I don't play enough to have this problem anymore but back in college I did. It was the heel of my hand was always dark.

Chalk on hands.....It's not a bad thing. I have a mistress and stay out with her all night. When I get home in the morning my wife asks me where I've been. I tell her I was with my mistress. She looks at my hand and says...You were out playing pool again weren't you. :killingme::killingme:

magic eraser, it also works on teeth.

But will it work on the stupid comment I was about to make? It did!!! It did!!!!

Seriously, my bridge hand palm has had a continuous blue / black stain for as many years as I can remember. And that's a lot of years ! And a lot of racks of pool :embarrassed2:.

My wife has a Scotch Brite dish wand. A sponge, with Scotch Brite on top and a dish soap dispenser in the handle that drips out soap as I clean the chalk dust off my hands. Works quite well for me. Gets out PVC glue and lots of other stuff I get into.

Freind of mine was out with his girlfriend and was headed home afterwards--his wife wasn't go'na like it --him being out just about all night long--before he went inside he took out a block of chalk from his cue case--just got filthy with it all over his hands--went inside--his wife looked at him and said--We'er the hell you been--he replied--out with my girlfriend--wife looks back--you lying bas--red,,,you been playing pool again--look at your damn hands

Got so fast to post the above--hadn't seen someone had about the same thing witten up--funny thing is--I had a good freind that got away with actually doing this --that's where I got it from

What's wrong with you dirty bastards? I wash my hands after playing and it comes right off...

If your palms starts to get hairy, and you can't see the balls are well as you used to, then it may not be from playing pool.:D
