Shaft wood.

Lots of Med on hand but definitely running low on Soft so will need a pocketful of those.

Should have known that the Soft Skins would be a good seller.

Chuck, my guard Papillon will be on duty and waiting for you.

While I'm sure Terry would appreciate the fine company and free beer, we do not have Acer saccharum growing here. We can grow Manitoba maple (Acer negundo). In other words don't get your hopes up ... I suspect Terry was joking around.

Specially when you consider, when Regina was founded, it was on the bald ole prairie and the only trees we have were hand planted.

About 250 K. I do however have a very nice 40' Fir tree and an old Elm.

i have a couple hundred, old growth and recycled shafts that have been hanging for 10 yers, they all have dead straight grain, 40 plus growth rings and are very dense, when you tap one on the side it hums like a tuning fork. i was asking $1.75 for 10 shafts, yes thats .!7 cents each, but then i saw you were in canada, and i do not ship to canada, sorry.
Well Chuck I am in the USA and would like to have all of them. 200 times 17.5 cents is $35. Would you be willing to pay the shipping and hold them for a couple of weeks for me to come up with the money? :rotflmao1:

I get my best wood first thing in the morning. Send me your number. I will send you some pictures. Maybe we can meat-up sometime.

Chris, I'll spot ya a few bucks if you can send me half.

But you might have to wait a couple of days. Lately I've been working as a Tin Smith and times are tough too. But, there is money in them beer cans, ya just have to find them first.

Let me know and I can Pay Pal you.

Broom handles. What a novel idea. I kind of figured that you could buy Staples at Staples but not quality shaft dowels.

Now, I'm wondering that if I can cut these on the band saw, I can laminate them. I will start a new line of shafts.

LBH - Laminated Broom Handles.

Maybe some good 50mm break shafts.

o.k. cueman you caught me

i was talking from memory, but i went to my shop, the real number of shafts i have hanging is 94, i also went looking for the type of shaft i described in the former post and really only found 2.
i believe i might have exaggerated just a bit, but i got caught up in the search for shafts. BUT if i would have had that many i would have shipped them and trusted you for the $35.00
