Donny made a ball and had a shot nearly everytime he broke. Shane didn't, both hard and soft breaking.
Donny had the wing ball every single time (but for one break) but he did not come up with ideal shots on the 1 every time. The 4-ball coming across towards the side pocket makes him spin the cueball with too much right hand spin to fade the kiss into the side pocket and this was screwing him up because he was also not getting the 1-ball to move far enough downtable to make that cueball position work alot of the time. Of course he got alot of practice mastering the somewhat thin left hand cut on the 1-ball to the top corner, but if he can somehow figure out how to either keep the cueball more center table by not using as much right hand on the cueball and yet keep the 4-ball out of play OR get the 1-ball to move farther down table off the break he never has to miss. When the break worked it was sick, and he went through some moments where he strung alot of easy racks together off of perfect break results. But alot of other times he was shooting a pretty tough 1-ball due to the cueball coming too far back and the 1 coming not far enough back up table.
