I found these at www.theactionreport.com ;)

The butt is one of his mother's cues that she said is 30 years old and she now thinks she may not be getting it back soon:D :D :D

The cue he played with yesterday was not the Joss East with his name on it.

Shane has a Joss that was made just for him when he was 9, and he stole my Schon (one of my thirty year old cues) from me last year. (He borrowed, but I have a feeling I will never play with it again.)

I'm going to assume the dark pointed cue yesterday was the Schon :)

I don't know how

he does it in a long sleeved (okay, rolled up a little) buttoned down shirt! Those shirt tails always bugged me bad, pulling at the sides. I never shoot
in a buttoned down shirt, even though I gave in when the shirt I wanted was out of stock, and they convinced me to take a short sleeved button down shirt instead.

So, I have a 'never worn' dark tan short sleeved button down Rumors Billiards shirt, size large. Anyone want to buy it? I originally paid $30 for the original shirt I wanted. Getting a picture is difficult since I have no driver for my Visioneer One Touch 7600usb scanner under Windows XP pro.

Congradulating Shane is becoming second nature. :)
His pool pedigree is nearly spotless. Shanes pool peerage is common knowledge to those of us who are part of South Dakota tribe of pool nuts....we are all rightfully proud of our South Dakota Kid......:)

Shane is doing so well, it's scary. We're going to have to check him for steroid use.

No, no, no I'm just kidding. Don't start flaming me.

Before the finals I picked Ronnie but I'm happy for Shane. Most definitely.

The Jenny Chant

JAM ... JAM ... THIS AIN'T NO SLAM, YOUR USA ... ALL THE WAY .... ALL THE WAY

Congrats Shane!! Hope this time the networks pick this up and try to drum up some interest in US pool again.

Shane is getting stronger with each outing. He played great against Corey and now has won the most prestigious tournament in America, beating the reigning World Champ no less. Every victory adds to his confidence and his desire to win more.

Shane was my pick at the Open and he's my pick in Manila at the WPC next month. If he plays like he did this past week, he has a good chance. Many of the same players plus several of the Chinese stalwarts will be there. Also some very strong players from Vietnam will make their presence felt. The filipino and Taiwan contingents appear to be the strongest, but maybe Shane's win will bolster the confidence of the Americans.

Should be a very interesting WPC this year. I don't look for any letdown from Shane. Winning can become contagious.

Grady said it in the commentating for the race to 100. He said he doesn't know who can beat this kid.

Congrats Shane. You have some fans in Baltimore that were rooting you on!

The only thing i could see stoping shane at the wpc is the race to 5 round robin in the first round . That format is a crap shoot and it should be changed.

Congrats To Southdakotakid!!!!!!!!!!!!

Way to go Shane! It's great to see another class-act take down the title. You deserve it!

Shane was at my room about a month ago and I asked him about his cue. As his mom said, it is a Joss cue that was made for him when he was 9 yeards old. It still has the original shaft that was made with it (and that is the shaft that is on the cue when he plays) It is amazing because it is still straight as arrow and he breaks with it.
