Sorry, I'm unaware of his last name. He came to Erie one time and beat up on me one-handed on a bar box we had up-front, I know that! He played really strong whatever his last name was!! This Claude passed away about 6-7 yrs ago I think (maybe longer), but I hafta talk to Fred to be sure...if I ever see him again

That's a fact of life, just accept it and move on. I was giving MY take on what happened years back, MY OPINION on what happened, and if you wanna hate me for what she acted like towards not only me, so be it. Maybe if I played often, I'd be more than willing to bet more than I should, but right now between work and school, I only play MAYBE 3-4 times a month! I WOULD BE willing to play you though, mouth...Come on down, you're next on the price is right! lmao

What grade are you in? Is it junior high or highschool? BTW YOU CAN GET PLAYED. I don't think it would be worth the trip for $5 though.

Actually, there has been at least a bit of criticism of Karen here on AZB for "gamesmanship" issues - shark-like slow play in untimed matches; rack wrangling to excess; and refusing to acknowledge obvious fouls in un-refereed matches (witnessed by many members of the forum - as close to cheating as anything I've witnessed - discussed here in the past). Not trying to be "nasty", just factual.

While I think Karen is actually attractive, and seems to have a very nice personality (away from the table); I believe she is definitely one of the least admirable "sportswomen" the WPBA has to offer. Yes she is successful; but many of us believe she wants to win TOO much, and at the expense of sportsmanship.

I'm sure it's not just my opinion, but Karen is not very pretty, and when I saw her in person I played on a team with her in Rochester,NY...right after she came here, and she didn't play very well either. I was having a GREAT weekend for pool, running out from everywhere, but was very disappointed with her performance. I'm sure she improved since then, but it was scary back then. This was in 98? I may be wrong on my year...A bump to the head will do that to ya

YES there sure is, and its easy to find. Its on 38th and Peach streets, and its called the "gold crown billiards". I never said I'm a champion, but I'm no slouch either, especially when I'm playing regularly. Let me know when you make it over this way and I'm there. Weekends are best for me
