phoebe choy said:Highly doubt it....anyway in the US amateur and professional tour (WPBA) there is something called "dress code" that Shanelle might get DQ'ed on before even playing.....and you're, right, the girls wouldn't mind because she is a VERY beatable player (i.e. stepping stone)...not a threat (in the tournament at least...lol) basically an average C class player if anything.

phoebe choy said:My experiences with the amateur/pro women tournaments:
Amateur: Not too bad...got a little heat one time for a buttoned-up collared shirt.....but needed at least a cap-sleeve, which it didn't have. So ended up having to play in the top I wore the day before. Didn't matter, I won the tournament and the qualifying spotBut overall, fair in imposing the dress code on ALL players - no favoritism seen there.
Pro: Put it this way...from what I've seen..Jeanette gets to wear anything she wants....never seen them bother her EVER, i think. I thought some of her outfits were questionable, not in taste or style, but just if it conformed to what I read as the dress code. But who am I right? Nobody...in fact I was the "new blood" and actually got warnings twice. Once was for a belt and shirt. The shirt was long-sleeved and in length so that when I would bend over for a shot you saw no skin (which was the dress code then). But the belt I was wearing would hike the shirt up at times when I would be reaching for a shot - asked me to either change the shirt or take the belt off...weird...lol!!! Another time when I was 4-5 months pregnant and wearing a v-neck maternity top, they said my shirt cleavage was a little low and so I safety pinned it together. My boobs are not ANYWHERE near Jeanettes or Shanelles so the difference in "look" when wearing the same things are completely different. Almost every girl showed skin when reaching for shots or leaning over the table, especially their lower back...which i was specifically pointed out (back then) in the dress code - yet I never knew of any other person to get called for it. I thought tank tops weren't allowed, yet saw girls wearing them all the time, like in the picture of Jeanette. Cleavage was in no way supposed to be reveal even when bending over...but I've seen many questionable instances. The pro women events are not fair in upholding the dress code...some women get to wear whatever whenever, and so be it.
That's jus my opinion/observations.

as far as cleavage is concerned and dress code, that depends on your body structure. the thing is, if Shanelle doesn't have those nice sets (flat-chested) but still wear those outfits, Marissa certainly wouldn't bash her. it is quite obvious that the center of attention is focused on those things and made reference to a person's pool personality. it's too bad that a few people take that negatively for what self-righteous reasoning.
it's more like saying you dont deserve to have those boobs if you are not a top 10 player. or you dont deserve to play if you have a rack like that.
pretty stereotyped. man, Marissa is not even a top 10 player and no one gives a shit whatever she does. yet she has a say on someone like Shanelle who's better looking than her. can you smell envy?
point here is a lot of people likes Shanelle better than Marissa. and Marissa is doing a lousy job in making herself likeable. if Marissa's assets are not that at par with Shanelle's, well she better makes it up on other things. and if being liked is Marissa's least of concerns, well she'll better prepare herself to be disliked. coz no person would like somebody who doesn't want to be liked. period.

She's taken a beating in 3 threads, and still cannot convince any of us guys that Shanelle is whack in any way whatsoever. Marissa is one foul & cruddy chick I would hate to be related to, or to work with, or to live near. Geeze, Marissa, have a rice day and chillax.
As far as I know you aren't a top 10 player either but you are having a say on Shanelle too. I also don't happen to agree with Marissa's viewpoint on this (for slightly different reasons), but you are basically saying here (the way I read it) that she is not entitled to have an opinion, and I just can't agree with that. She is as entitled to have an opinion on this as you or I or anyone else, even if we don't agree with it. We should be trying to keep the arguments about the viewpoints and the facts, not on personal attacks or somebody's right to even have an opinion.Hail Mary Shot said:<snipped>man, Marissa is not even a top 10 player and no one gives a shit whatever she does. yet she has a say on someone like Shanelle who's better looking than her. can you smell envy?

This board can cut some slack for marissa.Marissa is a young women and learning about life.she may not be diplomatic but definitely she is not harmful or vindictive to others.![]()
It never fails does it? Any topic that can be deemed controversial or ripe for debate always ends up with two or more members arguing until it becomes personal, then others have to chime in to defend their friends/online buddies, while even more attack, then it snowballs (like this run-on sentence) until even more people are fighting. One can only wonder what happens in PM(s). Meanwhile the subject of the OP's post gets lost in the quagmire.vagabond said:I did not suspect any envy. Marissa speaks her mind.May be I am too naive.

Just to be CLEAR, my issue is not with the size of Shanelle's boobs. It is inane to think so.Hail Mary Shot said:that is a much more polite way of stating your opinion phoebe. just by the way you answer, gets you more respect from forum members. no unnecessary bashing intended.
