I'd rather have a big dog or 2 laying around those cues than an insurance policy, the dogs ain't gonna screw you over and make you sorry you got 'em!
Gee, I dunno...a letter from Shane might be hard to get. Those world champions are awfully busy.![]()
I can make him write something out when I have to make him dinner this Sunday
These cues are irreplaceable... The purple meucci was Shane's first cue, he was about 8... I think. He got the "Shane" Joss when he was about 12. The Josswest, I got when I was 16 and I won lots of State Tournaments and the Nationals with the Joss and the Shon. Shane stole both of those from me when he started playing in the world tournaments. He ended up winning the most with the Shon and his "Shane" Joss. The Palmer was my mothers when I was a teenager and she died 25 years ago. Shane brought all the cues home after he signed up with Cuetec
The Joss with Shane’s name inlayed?....43 million.
....and that’s pretty close to priceless.
Probably unique

BAKED PORK CHOPS! Every time he's in town. When he misses a holiday I have to make Prime Rib and then I have to make it again for the holiday... that's a lot of prime rib.

This is like having a conversation with Tom Brady or Tiger Wood's mom...very cool.I hope Shane, you, and the rest of his support system that I'm sure has sacrificed much, realize how much he is respected and appreciated for being the standard bearer for American pool for the last decade or so. I have been fortunate enough to see in person Michael Jordan dunk a ball, Tiger Woods tee off at Augusta, and SVB play at Derby City...I hope he has many years of dominance yet!

since you want it for insurance purposes
i would use an established cue seller business to give you an "official" appraisal
i e a business with a website
Do yourself a favor and contact either Jamie at newcues4you or Bill at Cornerstone custom cues. They are very big cue dealers with well established businesses. I don't think an insurance company would have any issue with something in writing from either.
