Dennis has a family and two homes. Shane is single and lives at home.
I was surprised the thread got this far in until someone mentioned that.
Ill say it again...alla Mike Tyson. Everyone has a plan until they get hit in the face. Watching SVB break perfect for 3 days is tough to fade.

JL Chang didnt seem to have a problem fading Shane's big break. Shane has won a ton but isnt invincible. He's recently lost to Ruslan, the greek player, and JL Chang gambling.
Big Ko also has a winning record against Shane in major competitions, if I remember correctly, plus their race to 20 something challenge match a couple of years ago.
We see Shane, Dennis, and Shaw on tons of streams year round, but Wu and Ko only once in a blue moon. Don't let familiarity cause you to ignore other players

1) Can't count Ruslan because that was with last-minute gaffy break rules. He wasn't fading Shane's usual break.
2) Nobody said Shane is invincible. But I'm with Nick that Shane would put him into a coma again, in a long race. Shane doesn't win 'em all but he's obviously quite comfortable and often dominant in the format.
Maybe it's time for some Mr Walken Nature Channel?

He's still in the minor leaguesompared to the other two.
Highly doubt Shaw would play or could beat Dennis, SVB, either Ko brother, jung, Chang, I mean he has no step to stand on here. Bergman roasted him and he quit, was in total give up stroke, no fight from behind.
Not to mention SVB and Dennis can actually play all games well, Shaw can play rotation, that's it, period.

Dennis stays in constant action. His winnings don't stay in this country very long. It is my understanding that he is using his winnings wisely. His break has improved noticeably.
I don't believe Shane has the focus he had a few years ago. However, with the right motivation he could probably get back to the level he once was.
I also don't believe Shaw has his emotions well enough under control at this point to win a long match. No doubting that he is a monster.
If they were to match up regularly there might be different winner each time. They are definitely the Gold Standard.

Most of Dennis' winnings from tourneys and money games go to a lot of mouths that need to be fed. I'm talking about several families rely on him. In some ways this is good for Dennis, it keeps him hungry and when there is cheese, you can bet it, he will be all over it.
