Shooters-Olathe Extravaganza July 18-22

Just left Shooters on Monday. The list is growing. Sounds like this
is going to be exciting. Looking forward to seeing everyone there.

Well, last time I checked Shane McMinn had won the Junior Nations 5 times in a row. So, i would consider him to be the real Shane as well. Don't get me wrong, Shane Van Boening has a strong game. Watched him this weekend in Olathe, KS. But don't discount Shane McMinn, because I promise you, not too many people come to Tulsa, OK looking up Shane McMinn that's for damn sure.

I would bet on SVB, but it would be a fun match to see.

things are getting interesting in olathe. billy incardione and karl"bethigh"balm will both be there and they are not playing in the tourny either! so there will be some action to report!!:D :D :D :D

Are you guys still planning on going? Should be some good action up there! I know how you Florida boys like to bet it up!! I think a tournament of this scale should be round robin. In a ring game format it would suck if you got a draw with the three toughest players in the room.

The format is as follows:

Rounds last 3 hours with a 1 hour break.

Shooting order is redrawn every 10 games during a round with the winner of the 10th game keeping the break.

Table assignments are redrawn every round til you get to the final four.

When the last 2 players are left standing they put away the poker chips and play a race to 21 winner breaks for the top spot.

Stamina and mental toughness are really gonna come into play here. These guys are gonna be playing alot of pool.

6 days till the fun starts.

Your not the only one. I am outta here early Weds. morning, this is gonna be very cool. I don't know why but it just feels like something people will talk about for awhile. Probably just the wild format and all of the action guys who are gonna be under the same roof.

I can't wait.
 
Billy Incardona called last night and confirmed that he will be in Olathe. I think he wants to be there to check out all the action as well as witness this extravaganza. :)

Great tournament

What a great tournament this is! OMG - if anybody gets a chance to check out one of these 10-ball tournaments, please do! You will not be disappointed!
 
Luck of the draw

Oh yeah, the luck of the draw plays a major part in this too, as it does it most tournaments.
