I've only seen those cue extenders used on the snooker table. Are things done differently in different parts of the country or countries? I mean bridges can always be used. And at 5Ft maybe 5'1 or 2 depending on heels. I have been dependant on the bridge and comfortable with it for a long time. Ya know back when they had really nice bridges (not metal).I even carry my own bridge. The funky little thing will snap a tip off a house cue. I try not to use it.

Archer used the extender at least once that I have seen, and he'd not short.

I'm only 5'6" and for real important games I wear high heels.

Lots of people laughed at me, but since I shaved off my mustache, they hardly even notice anymore.

Kidding aside, I think the poster who mentioned cue weight, and especially balance points hit the nail on the head. Good luck!

That is funny, you owe me a shirt as I just dribbled coffee on it from the laugh. Setup then punchline, classic.

Sometimes I wish I was taller, I'm 5 6 as well. I tend to play shots then forget that I can't reach where I place the ball and need the bridge, or a stretch that leaves me unballanced for the shot. I guess that hight is still more than some others that posted, so I can't comment on the stick size issue. Maybe try a smaller diameter butt if you use a standard tapered one? I find the cue I own with a smaller diameter butt (Samsara) feels more delicate, that may be all you need to deal with the stick. It could be just mental, you are uncomfortable because you "Think" you should be.

5'6" here, just finished playing the Pechauer SoutEast Open stop in Gainesville on Diamond tables, they are slightly higher than "average" I believe. Used the bridge and shot left handed a little more than usual but nothing outrageous.

Being short just means you have to have more tools in your toolbox, it also intimidates people when you can overcome adversity well and be smooth with either hand or the bridge.

Yes "Milo" is very proficient with the cheat stick...but 5' 1"...?,is that with 4 inch platform shoes?I wish i had a photo to post of when you used that milk crate to climb up on the 12 foot snooker table...

we always uses cm for tall.. but I was looking for a website that converts cm to inches, and I found one. it says that i'm 66.9 inches, does that sound correct lol? I'm not tall.
