I'm not going to vote him AZBilliards in effigy but for him to infiltrate and then hijack Nick' search for pool action and turn it into an argument over rating systems is absurd , intolerable, and disrespectful of the rights of the OP and his answering posters.

The Action Room should not be an open forum. Players are there to do business and unless someone has something to add that
effort he shouldn't trespass.

I vote wholeheartedly to ban him from the action room until, at least , he
starts partaking in some sort relevant pool action.

I also believe that this whole Effing could have been reined in by an alert monitor who could have stopped it at Fish Dick's first post. It was obvious that he had no business there. I, in fact, feel dumb for responding to the bait.

I want to know who it was that mentioned fish dicks.
Don't you realize that this is a family oriented forum. And what, pray tell does a fish's appendage have to do with CC? I, for one, have come to his defense on at least one occasion and have always thought his heart was in the right place. Maybe not his brain, but at least his heart.
To label another man a fish dick, in my opinion, is patently and absurdly wrong.

I believe, and this is only my personal belief, that it is absurdly correct to call Cowboy a FISH DICK and shall henceforth refer to him as such.

People like Bruce add color to the world. It's a much better thing to do than to put yourself above people, and being colorful on a regular basis is not the easiest thing to do creatively.

I'd like to challenge anyone else on here to bring as much positivity and light to this forum as Bruce has done..... if you think about his intentions you would have no room to criticize.

Did you ever think that maybe in his life he's seen enough pain and just wants to be positive?

Pool, giving, and helping others is a big part of Bruce's life and anyone with common sense knows that. Whether it be by posting random things, finding donations for the Boys and Girls club, helping JB promote his cases or anything else, the guy should be congratulated for all the effort he puts into pool, and here you guys are trying to strike the man down.

Shame on you. :nono:.

If you folks only knew...... He has the main forum to wander around in. Just keep him outta the Action Room.

Gee, lets ban Coco. Why not ban JAM? How about the memory of Smorg? He said a few off center things. Why not me? Maybe we should just ask Mike to close the Forum? If only "right thinking" people are allowed to post, won't be much fun anymore.

Don't agree with everything Coco says on the forum. Concurrently he also says and does some wonderful things for the game of pool. If you don't like his posts, turn on your ignore button! Works for me from time to time.

I just lol'd. Twice.

Thanks for the laugh.

ignore button

I'm under the assumption that you can(at your own free will) ignore or block someones posts? I'd suggest that before putting up a poll.

Just saying.
He is on ignore, and will remain so until one of us dies.

Well that was a fun exercise lol.

It was a fun little poke at Fatboy, and he got it. I can see some of you have trouble with perspective, and definitely should avoid internet forums for your own good lol.

Coco's harmless... he just spams a lot. That's pretty much my only gripe. I don't know him well enough to have any sort of real opinion of him... but I do know that 99% of his posts are one liners that add zero value.

See that's not so bad ;)

Yep...I'm sure you were just joking...

Everyone's not cut from the same mold and I'm sure glad that is the case. It would be a boring world without the uniqueness that makes each of us, different.

While I'm not sure what the real intent of this thread is or was, the fact is, it is an adhominem attack on a poster who does a lot of good in the world that he lives in.

The truth is that on occasion I may have thrown a little barb Cowboy's way sometime in the past. What is unique about Bruce is that he seldom responds in kind to any mean-spirited comments that are thrown his way. Perhaps that makes him an easy target for some and a chance to kick someone who won't kick back.

Each time I read or hear about his charitable deeds to those in need, his decency, his humanity and his service to our country (America), my respect for him increases each and every time.

Although like most of you, I have never met him in person I am thankful that there are people like Bruce in my world.

The bottom line is, the world AND THIS FORUM are better places because of him.

I was not going to write anything on this subject , and now that I find myself doing it , make me wonder if it was me , how would I feel ? Got to say it would not feel to good. This is like talking about someone that's still in the room. I don't know this man personally but he was one of the first to befriend me here on the AZ forums.
I have gotten upset and even mad at family members as well as close friends. This is normal, what is not normal is a lack of civility or compassion to someone who loves the same, hurts the same and lives the same..day to day. So, in closing whatever was said or done or whatever is not what you would what done to you. If an evil was done , repaying with the same make us no better.

I have a feeling you play pool well also...nice post.

Coco Cowboy

I can't believe this thread has legs, and I wouldn't have posted and bumped it back to the top, but since it's there anyway, here goes. Like many, I assume, he was the first to make the effort to welcome me out of the shadows and into the fray of 'posters', and it is more of a fray than it should be at times IMO. It's fun, though, and although I don't know him personally, I'm betting he'll take this in stride. I hope so. The 'MODS' talk about 'contributing to the conversation', and for better or worse in your opinion, 17,000+ posts certainly does that. A week or two ago there was actually a thread from someone worried that since Coco hadn't posted in a while, something may have happened to him. I'm glad it didn't, and hope he keeps on adding his unique takes to the forum.

I woulda thought the same thing. But I've been around here for YEARS and I can count on ZERO fingers the number of useful, informative posts Bruce has made.

Just sayin'.
