shurts cues

I purchased a Gina cue. Ernie charged me $90 for overnight and was OK with me. Tracked the cue being shipped by FedEx. 3 days later I was still waiting. The note said the plane was delayed. The tracking told me the day it was to be delivered. I was sitting by the front door waiting. A signature was required. Was waiting all day close to the front door and kept busy reading a pool book. He parked a house away and snook up to the door and ran away before I could get there. He ran as if I caught him in bed with my wife. I went running down the street to catch him. I called FedEx and they said I could pick it up at the warehouse after 7:00 that night. I picked it up. Called Ernie. He put in a complaint and I got back $50. There was no way that I could have gotten to the door any faster. Should have been waiting outside but then he probably would have just skipped the house. It seems as if they are too overloaded to waste time getting a signature.

Can feel for you.

Did the buyer of that cue come here and start bashing you when your shipment was late??
That's unbelievable.....what a colossal twit....

In duke's defense, it looks like he was just as pissed in that case. So at least he's fairly consistent with his negativity. He's just overly anal. But we can all agree that there is nobody to blame for this misfortune involving shipment. Maybe duke will figure out a more efficient way to ship packages. A teleportation device of some kind. Or maybe a giant cannon that shoots your product across the country. I'll be back with more ideas

Bob, it's too bad you have to make your first post into this nonsense. Most of us know that Duke here is a serial cry wolf offender, so don't worry too much.

Agreed! My first thought was "Why is this post here and not in the Buyer/Seller Transaction Reports thread?" Then I saw who wrote it and I knew the answer.

Bob, this exposure may be a positive experience for you. I hope so.

I had the exact same thing happen a couple of days before Christmas. I had ordered a couple of expensive gifts that shipped by FedEx and required my signature. I took off work and waited all day. Kept checking outside my front door almost every 15 mins or so. Otherwise, I sat at my kitchen table reading. Went out again and found a note on my door that delivery was attempted and that I'd hafta go pick it up. Bull! I was furious. I called and complained, and they said they'd come back that evening...could be as late as midnight. Waited until midnight, and they didn't come. So I took off work again the next day, and caught him that time. I can't for the life of me understand why FedEx delivery guys do that!!!!! Grrrrrrr!!!!!!

LOL..this had me really laughing about the driver..i had one like that..i sat 10 ft.from the front door and he didn't ring the bell my dog barked so i ran to the window and there was the driver running to his truck like he stole a pair of Nike's from a store..i ran like hell and flagged him down..it was really frustrating but yet really funny...so now if i'm waiting on something important i put a 3ft x 3ft cardboard sign at the front door to ring bell and give me a few seconds to answer the door.:D

You are good at endearing yourself to cuemakers. You're real quick to badmouth someone in a public forum before anything has happened. How about learning some self-control and not posting until you're 100% that something bad has happened. Quit being so quick to jump the gun. Don't go back to your old antics.

Duke is probably reading all these posts now and regretting that he started this thread.... :D :D :D

That's the idea, ooooh your cue is two days late, lets call CNN:D

Kind of off topic but last week my friend sent me an email with the subject line "hope my speakers aren't jacked up." Turns out it was a link to his tracking# with UPS and it said "delayed because of train derailment." Just goes to show anything can happen at anytime. That was the first time I have ever even heard of anything like that. Made me laugh really hard though.

I wonder if bandits dynamited the track:D :D
LOL... after he read that on the site he started searching the internet for train derailments and actually found a few articles about it. It happened in western Arizona. He was pretty upset though... the articles said absolutely nothing about his speakers. :)

Duke, you have the UPS tracking number right? Doesn't that verify that Bob shipped your cue on the day expected? If so why is this thread a misdirected Bob Shurtz whine and not a UPS gripe?
