First off I'm not really sure how hard these were to do but I would guess they were probably damm near impossible. Props to the cuemaker for his dedication and originality.

They would be Dave's . I just saw the photo of them in his signature over on the Army site. Just felt the need to share . I hope he doesn't mind.

All I can say is WOW. I asked Dave to post the joint after seeing the butt.
Wow!

they look like maple stiches just offset with a black in between. a long set and a short set. kinda like szamboti chain link style.

the sick think is how skinny they are. like .010 each

Dave's been doing some of the sportiest ringwork on the planet for a long time.
These are great!

There must be something to that 100 degree desert heat in October.

Wicked cool.

Rings

If you look really close you can see a bevel in the edges of the maple insets. They look like arrow heads. Not just standard stitch rings cut real thin.

Dave makes some of the best looking rings I've ever seen. I can't decide which I like more, his butterflys or his ring work. I'd probably take the ringwork personally.

Anybody have pics of the full cue?

If the rings are this nice, I would love to see what the big picture is!

''Wrong profession''.......

With precision like that, Dave should've been a surgeon,,,,,,,,

Naw,,,,,and second thought,,, he's better off as a cuemaker doing this awesome work,,,,,,!!

I think Dave lurk's here maybe he'll come out and tell us a little of what went into making these......PLEASE!
