They are made from different resins.

The Super Pros are a matched set so the ball that comes with the Super Pro set (the red logo ball) is made of the same resin as the rest of the set - the Aramith Super Pro resin.

The red circle ball is made from the Super Aramith resin. I'm not sure but I think this is between the Premium and Premier lines. That would make the red circle ball a lower quality ball than the red logo, by a couple of levels.

The difference between my red circle balls is that aramith ball cleaner will take off the blue marks. The ones I pictured will not come clean. It seems the blue is embedded in their surface.

The blend of your cloth or the ball's composition may exacerbate this dimpling issue, but it's just a simple matter of physics that when a high density object like a ball strongly impacts or super-heats the much less dense cloth, the ball is going to win every time.

I've yet to play on any cloth that didn't exhibit these characteristics. Just think of it as patina, or a natural occurrence. :shrug:

Any of the foaming products will penetrate the cloth and if used repeatedly will ultimately affect the weave. The questions
on cloth cleaning comes up frequently. Vacuuming removes the chalk dust and a slighty damp, light wipedown with a microfiber
cloth removes most chalk marks. Burn marks are pretty much guaranteed any time you use worsted cloth so it's something you
just need to live with. Using a clean, top quality cueball and keeping the cloth clean goes a long way in minimizing the burn marks.

Break lines and jumpshot marks are one thing, white spots all over the cloth is another...that is from a cheap cue ball, which is why if you look at the cue ball real close..you'll see little flat spots all over on it.

But all over the table it has white dots, that look like someone was trying to masse, miscued, and jammed their tip into the table. I regularly brush, and vacuum the table, and every month or so, i hit it with the chalk off.

I didn't think to take pics, and am currently at work, so i am unfortunately unable to add pics at this time, but will do so when i get home.

Any idea what might be causing this?

I am going to be recovering it in the next month or so (just because i want to go to tournament blue instead of green), but am now apprehensive to try HR again, as i have never had this issue with standard 860 or 760, or championship tour edition.

People using bottom english alot will give you white tread marks all over the table. The rack area, if you have a dot, wouldn't have them because only the 1 ball would skid.

Unless a valley magnetic ball comes packaged with a set of aramith premium balls, in an aramith premium box, with an aramith logo on the ball... i think ur mistaken.

Its not magnetic.

I have the green logo magnetic ball also, but this one is not.

And if its sounds like i am being a jerk, i do not mean it that way... just trying to show my point
