I took the liberty of disturbing Tampa-Tubby-Bob this morning because I knew he would enjoy your posts and good wishes.

Doug's spirits were immediately lifted and he asked me to tell you that he really appreciates all of the good wishes. (Personally, I think he prefers REP to the good wishes :D )

The test results aren't back yet but we are keeping our fingers crossed. Smorgass Bored asked that you not send cards or make telephone calls but he knows of your sincere thoughts and good humor.

I even got him to laugh at some of your humor. It wasn't hard, as Doug enjoys humor as you all know.

Anyway, thanks again for your thoughts and wishes. I will keep you updated as I am allowed to do so. :smile:

Gota tell ya, Doug is a guys you gota get to know to understand just how witty he really is. He has made me laugh many a times. Miss ya Big Guy.

Wow, judging by the response to this thread he is a real popular guy, whodathunkit? :D Best wished Mr. Bored, get well soon.

Joey, when you talk to him again can you ask him something for me? Say this real fast, "are they there yet?, are they there yet? are they there yet?". He might laugh, he might get irritated but he will know what it means. :)

Wow... I musta missed this. I've been through the congestive heart failure thing myself and it's no picnic.

Smorg, if you're listening, my heartfelt wishes for a quick recovery.

It must have been that porker valve that's wearing out - remember this when you had the operation...?

Now I'm thinking if he really did get a pig valve...
