So I opened a pool hall

I bought three connected buildings that took up a city block. I spent a lot of time and money completely refurbishing the buildings. I put in 25 gold crown IV's and 30 diamond bar boxes. A huge bar and grill, and a roof top lounge area that overlooks downtown to enjoy your dinner on during those pleasant summer evenings or to take a smoke break.

I even have a special area with four 9 foot diamonds and stadium seating for major exhibitions. RKC spent over a month getting all the tables in top notch condition. For my grand opening I am putting on a tournament of champions where my personal favorite, Kieth McCready, will be competing.

Then I woke up and realized it was all a dream and it's time to go back to my 9-5 daily grind.

Some days life is just too freaking cruel.
 
You're so mean ... I had an extra tab open to Air Canada looking for flights. Then I hit the end of it and cried a little.
 
Yeah that was cruel. I don't really know you but I was really happy for you when I read the headline. I thought there's someone that should own a pool room. All for nothing!

55 tables is pretty funny though. When I got to that point, I starting shaking my head thinking how you must be crazy.

If i ever win 10 million dollars i'm starting a pro pool player team league in the same type of format as what pro video gamers.
 
I knew it was a BS story after I read the first sentence. Nobody is crazy/stupid enough in today's economy to have a poolhall of that size try to succeed.

How do you think I felt! What started this whole thing is that last night the Missouri power ball was up to 212 million, so I bought some tickets. I went to bed thinking of what I would do with the money. I woke up heart broken.:confused:

Oh well, such is life. The dream was great while it lasted.

I'm sure you're not understanding my concept and my english isn't good enough for me to explain how it would work in detail. But it would be a team league, with players signing contracts like any other organized sport and the series would be played as a team in a format similar to how a certain video game pro team league functions.

I think the hardest part would be to find owners/sponsors for teams at the start of it all but if i had 10 million dollars i'm sure i could start 4-5 teams on my own to get things rolling. After all we're talking about pool players here, you could probably sign some of the top players in the world if you offered them $30k a year....lol
 
ha ha good one. Think I had that same dream but there would be half naked women as rackers ! Also anything worth doing is worth overdoing is my motto !! :)
