Sorry, John. I already edited the post. The next tournament you and I are at I'll play you a straight pool game for a $100 just so you can grasp how horribly I actually play.
Nothing wrong with donating,I donate to Disco everytime I make a sweat bet with the guy, lol. :D

your right.i played larry 8ahead years ago .after 10 hours he won he broke great and won.the money was posted on the light with many sidebets.one of the people who was betting on me managed to pull his bet off the light.there was 100 people watching and i never went near the money on the light.to this day i dont know how anybody got the money off the light without someone noticing. anyway larry and everybody there attested to the fact i never went near the money so nobody blamed me.supernova seems to be implying that i had something to do with it and i dont think thats very nice.anyway if my backer likes my end of playing larry an all around i will play.also i think i might just try quintenn some 8ball.whats the worst that could happen ,i could lose .its happened before and it will again.

John, I'm sorry if you took my post the wrong way. I never tried to imply that YOU took money off the light. I was just saying that money was missing of the light and it was from your end.

Anyways, if you're interested in playing Larry let me know and I'll see what can be done. I think this would be the best Action Challenge yet if it happened.

I think its going to be very hard to top Shane and Alex to be honest perhaps John and Quinten will.

When I originally saw "challenge match" I assumed it was one guy challenging another. Calling them out if you would like to put it that way.

Does this normally happen to the TAR guys? Player A says "I want to play player B for X dollars playing X ball" or its it a timing thing where they see who they know and who is available and then make the match up?

The thing I liked about OMG vs CUBC was that they were just regular players, on their own dime, trying to beat the other. People who we could send an email to, or PM and see how nervous they were or how they thought things would go down etc.

Personally, if TAR has another event where the average person is invited to play, Id love to be there, playing or not.

Here is a list of players who have I have spoken with or have made it known to one of our friends or associates (Spider Webb is an official TAR Associate :D) that have mentioned an interest in playing a TAR challenge match. In no particular order and no particular pairing:

Allen Hopkins
Cliff Joyner
Jason Kirkwood
John Schmidt (obviously :D)
Scott Frost
Alex Pagulayan
Mika Immonen
Darren Appleton
Karl Boyes
Mike Dechain
Jason Klatt
Shane (probably late this year / early next year)
Tony Chohan
Please also keep Justin on the list......unless Chad is still upset at the turn down of the last offer that we discussed in Vegas JCIN, I will be working on assignment in your old neck of the woods (Indy) the next 2 months but we would love another game. Unfortunately, the players on your current list are a notch or two or three above Justin. I might have to twist Justin's arm for that Klatt match.

And to D Lewis, I can tell you with the Young Guns challenge it was Player X wants to play Game Y for Z amount of $$$. We actually got two offers from two different players to choose from at the time. Then it was a matter of JCIN setting up a time & agreeable place. The best thing about it is that JCIN & Chad take all the b.s. out of matching up. They are straight up guys & you get the match, no discrepancies. Guaranteed time, place, money and game. What else could u ask for.

Justin if you tell me when and what venue you are going to want to broadcast I can find out what pinoy will be in town and where. A friend of mine (a player in his own right) usually picks them up at the airport and shuttles them around to prearranged local matches.
I would like to see a match up with Lee Van Corteza, Ronnie Alcano, Dennis Orcullo, and Marlon Manalo as one of the competitors.

A Quentin Hann/John Schmidt has all the makings of a great international match. People in England, Australia, Europe, Canada, and America would be eager to watch it. This could be great for revenue.

So would a Feijen/Schmidt match. Feijen plays a great game of one hole (vs Efren 9/7!!!) and is no slouch in 14.1 either. A great match

Excellent! I wasnt quite sure how it worked, if they just asked around who wanted to play at a certain price point in a certain place.

Ive had the 'pleasure' of playing Jason..... Ewww.

It was a local handicapped tournament, he had to go to 10. He broke and ran 8 of the racks. Ewww.

Thanks for the info. Sounds like Justin still needs the 8.

Assuming that Johnny and Jason are about the same speed......

Yeah, Id be asking for the 8 too, good business move.

Oh watchez, it's great to see that the Vegas heat made you even more delusional than before. Justin himself said he was interested in the game...the even game. D_Lewis...assuming Johnny and Jason are the same speed wouldn't that mean that Jason is the one needing weight considering how Justin demolished him in the race to 100??

JCIN, you know I'm on the girl list of course. Please let me know any info that you guys get on something going down around the time of the ring game. Nasty can fill you in on what he was telling me about in Vegas. It was good to see you guys again and hopefully I can make it out for the ring game.

There are so many great options out there for match-ups. I can't wait to see the next one.

i would love 2 see that. i got Joe rogan though.

Some may think I was joking, but Im not. Both are pool enthusiasts and I think it would be entertaining and a good public relations for our sport which is desperately needed.

Id love to see keith in the next tar. dont care who he plays. maybe a good lefty. U dont see too many pro lefties out there and it would be a treat to see how it changes their pattern play

Watchez I don't want to start anything but I(Mike Dechaine) would like to play Justin in the Young Guns challenge 2. If you guys are looking to play.

I thought it was King of the hill and now Alex P. is the champion until someone dethrones him.

I am willing to put Alex up against anyone on the planet.

Any takers?

I would gladly pay top dollar for a 4 man ring game, Keith, Earl, Mike Sigel and Scotty Townsend, but be sure to mic them all up!
