SW Q on eBay

I was looking at that cue this morning on eBay thinking it was really gorgeous...are you guys thinking that the seller isn't legit, just posting an internet acquired photo & description of a nice cue?
Help me out here?
Thanks,
Jeff

.

never know, kinda funny how the pics of the joint pin all come up just a bit shy of showing a pin number, but on the other hand, none of the rings match up and that tends to be part of SW's trademark too. One of the only cues in that price range that rings do not match, too bad.

That was my cue, those are my pictures, and that is an edited version of my description. I sold this cue to a guy in Connecticut a short time ago. This guy used to own the cue years ago, sold it, always regretted it, and luckily happened to see it when I listed it. He even drove down with cash in hand to get the cue just shortly after the auction ended. It is highly unlikely he got rid of the cue already.

Here is the auction in which I sold the cue:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=7213185591&rd=1&sspagename=STRK:MESO:IT&rd=1

I'm 99.9% certain that this is a scam.

None of the rings match up? Sure about that?

.

yeah, take a look at the pics, where the veneers line up etc, the only sw that had rings match up all the way down were a few that Jerry made. I am not saying that there isn't one out there, but I have seen quite a few and the rings do not match up.

I just asked him for the pin number. Some one should ask if they can take a look at it or pick it up if they are the winner.

I had a bid on it and asked if everything was straight and received a reply that it was and wanted to know "if i was interested in closing
this transaction at a buy it now price.I think i am able to make you a very
good offer or happy bidding" I will ask if I can pick it up as I live in FL

Another tactic used by the cue scammers on ebay is using the "user ID kept private" method. this way the suckers, er bidders can't get a decent heads up from those of us that have been burned, or gone through much hassle to get close to even. follow runscotts' thread on fraudulent sellers on ebay and then check this out:
http://cgi.ebay.com/JERRY-RAUENZAHN...ryZ21212QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem

it's the same cue, by the same scammer as you will see from this link:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=21212&item=7206332695

what say you runscott?

I got this email last night . . . .

The following is a notice from eBay Trust & Safety regarding:

items listed on eBay that are completed outside of the eBay marketplace are not
covered by the Buyer Protection services offered by eBay and can be highly
indicative of fraud.

If you have not sent payment to the seller, we urge you to not proceed with the
transaction........

I put an initial bid on the cue just to watch it. You guys were right . . . AS USUAL!! :D

asiasdad

I ended the auction because I sold the cue. I took some trades and made a deal. I am not stealing form anybody and the guy is very happy with his cue as I am his case and cue. Thanx for your concern. You want to know the real truth, You got a great cue and had I paid to much buyers remorse syndrome and changed your mind. The cue was 4 months old and had no issues. You are definetly a liar. Oh' and by the way, Runscott has slammed car dealers and Asiasdad is a car saleman at a dealership. You also failed to post that I even paid for your shipping charges. The whole time this mess was going on I did two deals with no problems. Spanky98ball,Vonrhett. Both will tell you and many others that I am an honest person and no way intended to fraud anybody. I would appreciate it if you would cut me some slack and let it be what it was. A true mistake. Thanx Aaron

i am in the car business. i do not sell the cars. your cue was beat, you even offered to re-finish it. you like to spin things, but your reputation is now destroyed as you destroyed it with your unethical behavior. calling me names will do nothing to improve your reputation. by the way ebay is investigating you now for not paying back the 175.00 X 2 that you defrauded them in regards to both runscotts' and my transactions where ebay awarded our claims....I guess this makes you an honest seller. when you once again sliver from under your rock with another ebay name, i'm sure someone on this forum will give everyone a heads up. By the way an honest seller does not need to hide the bidders identities. It's only the guys with low counts who have something themselves to hide.
