Although I am not actually in the military anymore, I work in Afghanistan as a civilian contract firefighter for the Army right along side the rest of the military everyday going through the same pit falls and hard ships they are. Hearing something like this after being here for 18 months really makes you just sit back and smile. Despite the hell hole you live in.

Every year I schedule my vacation time back to the states around the super billiards expo. And like last year I'm going to make a b-line straight to your booth. Picked up a nice Scruggs titlist this past year from you guys. I am constantly on your site looking for the next cue.

Anyway thank you Bill for those very kind and thoughtful words. Reading these kinds of patriotic posts means more to the men and women over here than you could ever imagine. It's funny how the smallest words of encouragement can lift one's spirits.

My father, father-in-law, mother-in-law, myself, and two of my daughters served the military. my oldest daughter is still, as a seabee attached to an EOD unit. Thank you for the offer, I find it nice when someone recognizes the military.



What Is A Veteran?

A "Veteran" -- whether active duty, discharged, retired, or reserve -- is someone who, at one point in his life, wrote a blank check made payable to "The United States of America," for an amount of "up to, and including his life."

That is honor, and there are way too many people in this country today, who no longer understand that fact.

I am behind all who serve and have served! so often we take for granted what others do for us! I am making it known that you who serve! are serving me! because iam (my family) are reaping the benifits (freedom):)

I have been doing this for quit a while now. I also give Vets and current active members of our armed forces discounts. I agree with you 100%! We can never thank them enough for what they do for us! Provide our FREEDOM! So thank you to everyone that has and or is a member of the military!! Give Bill a call and if he doesn't have what your looking for, have him give me a call and I will build you something.

hey scott hope all is well! we ALL need to support our country and those who protect it! God has blessed us by being the super power we are and the most desireable place to live on the planet!! I met a woman who walked WALKED!!! from hondouras thru the desert, thru mexico and into texas just caus she wanted to do better for her children! most of the people that complain about the states need to spend a couple months in haiti or etheiopa! and when they come home they will kiss the ground that we have been blessed with! your a great guy !:thumbup:

Nope. On the road right now. Should be home in a couple weeks.

Wish I could have made the show...but the birth of my daughter took first chair, of course. Right after that, I was on the road again (imagine that).

I've got 3 or 4 more short trips in the next 8 months...then a REAL long one again this coming spring. Good times!!! :(
