Well the time has come to ask for a little help .As some of you
know I have done all of the streams to this point out of my pocket
as a labor of love. Lets see how can I say this "WE NEED SPONSORS"
to cover travel cost .I can offer a very reasonable package for any advertiser
that want to be featured while we are online as well as on our
website .
A BIG thank you to Steve Lomax for being the 1st to step up and
be the official jump cue of Cue Sports Video live streams . Again I
am reasonable and open to any ideas .If all the pieces fall together
I should be in Cape Coral doing a Seminole stop at Diamond billiards.
Even Geno the Machino donated a DVD to the stream so that will
be in the mix this weekend as well .

ok

Well that stired up a hit or two .:D
I will post up a tenative schedule in the
next day or two as well for the next 6-8 weeks

bump for ya !

if anyone has not seen matt's broadcasts they are top of the shelf productions. advertising with him will be a very good source to get your products in the eye of pool fans everywhere! i know there will be alot of happy pool people out there to see matt return to streaming after he had equipment troubles at the gem city classic. it is very well time he gets some support from all that can help.

talk to ya soon matt

The Live Streaming business is a tough gig.

Matt90 is a reliable guy who will do what he says. Like any live-streamer knows, computers crash, band-width problems and such can slow you down but it hasn't stopped Matt.

Right now, Matt is single and can travel to practically any tournament.

He might even have a record for the most number of live streams in 2009.

Anyway, if any sponsors are interested in providing MONEY or PRODUCT to pay for advertising on Matt's Live Stream, he is just what he says he is, reasonable. :)

I don't think you have to be one of the big cue makers to be a sponsor either. I could see smaller suppliers like the Pocket Chalker guy getting involved. He's got a good product but it doesn't get much advertising.

Matt's Streams go all over the WORLD. :D

Lets keep this one page one and get some people to step up. I know Matt has been doing what he can and streaming, that is really what counts. Those of us in the trenches so to speak know that there is no real money in it, the love of the game has to be your biggest motivator. I hope that people support you in this and you can get out there and do more events. ;)

The "Phenolic Hat Company of America" should be up and running by Oct. I'll keep you posted.

I don't want to spot light potential sponsors any more than I already have. It can be embarassing when a person doesn't want to spend money and you have some yahoo like me suggesting that they give up some of their product for advertising space on Matt's stream but it is a good situation for most people.

I'm going to send a friend or two a message about this opportunity to see if they want to participate in Matt's Live-Streaming projects.

You are a pretty cool guy, Lenny! No, you are a really cool guy. I like your style.

I've watched your streams and enjoyed them but unfortunately I'm just a retired guy with nothing to sell. It would be a smart move for someone in the business to get onboard with these online streams, I really believe it is the future of this sport and given a choice between patronizing a sponsor or a non-sponsor I will go with the sponsor every time.

Good luck to you, I hope to enjoy more of your streams in the future.

Matt,

Give me a call when you get a chance. You do a great job covering the east and southeast and definitely deserve to be paid for your efforts!

just got back to grab a sandwitch before grandsons soccer game and i see ya needed a bumper.

Matt' streams are top notch, its one of the few where you can go full screen an fully enjoy the video. It would be nice to see Matt hook up with a tour or two and bring the games into our homes.

Well, I have a question for you pool watchers... I might be interested in sponsoring but would like to know this. What I do is sell pet products... 99% dog and 1% cat... all treats, toys, and accessories. How many of you own pets and would be willing to order them from a pool stream in order for me to sponsor. Please be honest... If it works, then I might be interested in playing ball. I just have such low margins I would have to sell quite a bit to break even.... Thanks for your answers...

We buy chew toys for my son's dog on a regular basis. Right now, we are averaging one chew toy every two weeks.

Are your prices competitive with other suppliers of chew toys? If your products are the same price or better than your competitors, I see no reason why someone wouldn't order your products, especially if you sponsored pool live-streaming.

For the record, out of sight is out of mind. Are you already operating a successful business and just looking for an additional revenue stream?

There are not huge numbers of Live Stream watchers right now but the numbers seem to be growing.

I used to operate a business called the Lunch Vine where I advertised restaurants lunch menu and sent the flyer via computer fax to businesses in specific geographic areas. The restaurants didn't make a ton of money with new customers but the advertising kept their restaurant's name in front of those customers they wanted to target.

That's very nice of you to consider sponsoring Matt's Live Streaming efforts. Why don't you try it for a weekend and see how it works out. Just don't try paying Matt in squeaky mouse toys because he doesn't have a dog or a cat that I know of. :-)

Joey,

I have numerous sponsor opportunities for Matt including My stream, but I have yet to hear anything from him.

He certainly needs to let sponsors know what they will get for their dollar.

Waiting anxiously...imo.

He is on the road as we write. He is on a long trek but I'm sure he will be in touch, probably tomorrow when he gets settled in.

When I got my XM a couple of yrs ago, I kicked myself for not getting it sooner. I don't know how I traveled before that. I prefer the comedy channels first, talk shows second, and sometimes music. Whether its comedy or a talk show, I've found that the trip goes faster when there is dialogue to follow and think about.

Good luck with the sponsorship. I enjoy watching your streams and would like to see you stick around.
