Anybody had a stacked leather wrap put on at Tiger products?
How about any info on who would you recommend to install one.
For installing, what are things that you look for?
How is it started and ended?
After its installed are there any things you have to do it?
Is it sealed somehow?
Compared to a standard leather wrap, what are the pros and cons between the 2 ?

Got this installed last May in vegas during the BCA by tiger (Elia). Pics don't really show it but the red matches the veneers on my TAD perfectly. I was told to hit it with lemon pledge about once a month and it should be good for years. I don't believe they seal it but look for Crowncitycorey on here for the answers to your questions. And yes i love mine.:D

Stack wrap

I've had a couple cues done by Tiger products and I was extremely happy with the results. Work was perfect and the colors matched very nicely with my cues. Tony is a great guy to deal with down there in LA. Also, the cues had a very fast turn around time.. something like 1-2 days.

I like the stack wrap because there are mixed color options like the one Getnbzy posted (beautiful BTW). Also, since the stack is in a spiral pattern down the cue there is no 'seam' line. I would recommend going with a darker color than a lighter color because light color leather will show more dirt than a dark color.

I've also heard that Ryan from Rat cues who posts on here also does very nice work.

My buddy CheezDawg has two cues done by Ryan at Ratcues. Check out his signature. Beauties.

Nope. No finish. But the last thing he did to it before handing it back to me was busting out a can of lemon scented pledge.....i assumed to use on an oak dresser somewhere, but he starts to spray it on my wrap as i try to keep the squirming to a minimum. He hands it to me and says do that once a month and if you take care of it then the wrap will be good for years.

Ryan at rat cues does a very nice job. I have a old Schon , very nice feel to it. Fast turn around. Can't say enough. Jim

I have had 5 cues done with stack leather by Tiger in Vegas and he does a fantastic job. I do use the lemon Pledge but if you play alot it will become dull looking over time. BUT, when returning to Vegas the following year he will re do the wrap for $35.00 by light sanding and re coating it and it looks new again.... He is really good at picking the colors to match your cue. Much better than I would pick for myself...He has 40 years experience and know's what he is doing......Oh yeah...It takes him only 1 hour to do it and you pick it up.....
One advantage is that I like the feel better than linen wrap. I like a single leather wrap also but the stack you can vary the colors and also put 2 or 3 different colors in the wrap. It makes the cue look more expensive ...Cost is $150.00........
My cue in my advatar has his wrap but I don't know if you can see the various colors that well in that small picture....
Fatboy...I will be playing on Mike Mitchell's team in Vegas, if your there, you can look at my cue and see how it looks....

Tiger did a perfect Job

I bought a Steve Klein cue from Indyq a few months ago and had Tiger put a SLW on it and they did a perfect job!

Tiger did mine at Valley Forge. 1 hour wait. Feels very smooth- almost like wrapless. It can scratch. I love the color match to the rings. I'm very satisfied with it. Jim
