starting time for 14.1

Whats wrong with pool? I cant even get a start time for the first match on sunday ,being held in New Brunswick .NJ..Today is Wed 8/24..No One knows not even the hotel...and you ask whats wrong with pool and why it doesnt get the support you need...need I say more....

Well its not 2/24 its 8/24. Everybody makes mistakes. Dig a little deeper Im sure you will get your answers.

8 Groups of 8 Players Round Robin (Race to 100)
#1 player in each group gets a bye into 32 men double
Top 4 Players advance to final 32
Tie breaker for each bracket
• Most matches won
• Highest total ball count
• Head to Head (if there’s only 2 players)


1. August 28, 2011
Day 1
12:00pm - Players Meeting
3:30pm – Play Starts

2. August 29-30, 2011
Day 2 -Day 3
11am - Play Continues


3. August 31, 2011
Day 4
9am - Play Continues
Final 32 Players
Race to 150
Hall of Fame Banquet 5:00pm



4. September 1, 2011
Day 5
9am - Play Continues
Final 8 Players
Race to 200

5. September 2 2011
Day 6
Final 4 players
Race to 200

11:00am Semi 1,

The only thing I am bummed about is that according to the other thread, the live stream won't start until August 30th? Sounds like they'll miss two round robin days, where there's always some great matchups. Oh well, it's still going to be a great event.

Yeah, i do regret that a couple of days will be missed. I may bring a camera and set up for a few matches, if I get the chance.

Not sure which to pick. Younger monsters like Schmidt, Ortmann, Hohmann, Immonen, Feijen, Lipsky or older legends like Sigel, Hopkins, Martin, Daya, Barouty.

I may opt for the older players if I get the chance. I have seen so many 100s, and 200s of Schmidt and I have seen plenty of Hohmann, Immonen, et al.
