I quickly closed my search window when the images started to pop up. While, I do work in a pretty relaxed work atmosphere, still not something I want up my screen at work. If you'd like, I'll do some extensive research this weekend. Maybe put up some ratings of each motion picture in the series?

rofl, haha. I imagine your eyes widened very quickly!:rotflmao1:

Almost as quick as when I was looking for some sporting goods online at work and forgot yet AGAIN that the website for Dick's Sporting Goods is NOT what I keep thinking it is! :)

Of course you realize I'm gonna have to google it at home now... :p

Oh hell, why not? the work computers all have that blue coat protection that doesn't let us go anywhere deemed "unacceptable" anyway. Maybe I'll set off some alarm in the corproate offices or something. :D

*** Update *** Damned Blue Coat won't even let go to google images, much less type in No Holes Barred. Now I gotta do the search at home. heh heh

If you type images.google.com into your browser it will get there. Some links to google images are blocked by bluecoat, but google images isn't if you type it in.

someone is checking out my backside (i know that's a bit dramatic, but i'll put it out there anyway).

Jennifer

Thanx for that visual , Jenny ! :shocked2:

Took my (then) 10 month old grandson to Vegas with me for Nationals in 2010 , but since he CAN"T READ , the shirts can say anything they want . . .

I was all giggly thinking this would be a workaround for me. Alas, Bluecoat shuts that down, as well. Sigh. The lengths we go to goof off while at work, huh?

I said it much earlier in this thread, but I agree with 3andStop. This is very tasteless and classless. If you truly think this is all in fun just remember that you are helping men objectivify women even more. Not only that but I too would hate to have my kids exposed to an environment like that. I just ask you reconsider, your "fun" does have reprocussions.

I picked Money Shot.

There are some good names to choose from and i applaud you ladies for having fun with naming your team.

I helped pick the team name Boo Bee's for my wife's team. We just found out our state tournament will not let them use it :(

Good Luck !

We are a bunch of spirited colorful women. Having a name that's a little tongue in cheek doesn't make us any less classy.

It's all in fun...we aren't going to tattoo it to our bodies... :)

I picked Magic Racks, allot of your choices, when you involve alcohol and idiots, the barking could evolve.

Overeeasie, is my final pick tho.:))

Women have been "objectified" for thousands of years. Do you truly believe that a group of classy and intelligent ladies having a little fun with their team name is going to alter the course of history?

In case you haven't noticed, here in 2011, "objectifying" is also called marketing. Meaning using something to attract attention to your product or service. And it happens with the guys, too. In case you missed it, the ladies do a pretty darned good job of "objectifying" guys as well. You don't have to like it, and I do undertsand that. I'm not just bustin' your chops for the sake of doing so. I just think the "outrage" over what these ladies are doing from a few of you folks is misdirected, and hopelessly out of date with the times.

Once again ladies of "No Holes Barred" (or whatever name eventually wins) best of luck, MOST of us are rooting for ya! :D :p

Would you feel different if they were playing in an APA tournament? :)

I think Stunning.... er, I mean, Cunning Stunts is a great name.

Nothing sexual is implied at all... anyone with any taste would assume it meant your players are all very crafty and able to make incredible shots. :D

Vegas Vixens would have been good.

However its not there. Soooooooooooooo.

I'm going with Magic Racks.
Its short and easy to yell out.

Plus Trigger and Ashley have nice Racks. HEH HEH HEH!!!:D:D

Second attempt at posting.....don't know why it didn't work the first time. I jotted this down when trig first asked for name suggestions...not sure why I did not follow thru.

Not real sure why there are some negative comments regarding this....to each his/her own I guess. If any of those folks knew these ladies - they would know they are anything BUT classless, tasteless, and whatever else was said. I can't even remember all the names because it makes no sense to me.....but that is MY opinion. :)

Heck, my team name last year was "We've Got The Runs", which made some people first think of, well, something you'd do in a toilet. lmao...but it was all in good fun - just like this is. It is called thinking outside of the box. :)

Again, just my opinion. I do not wish to get scolded for stating this. :)

Peace,
Amanda

:)

Well said Amanda. I think this is great fun. I can't wait to see the reaction they get in Vegas.

To be completely honest, if I was to just see the name (not knowing about this thread obviously), the whole thing would probably go over my head. LOL! However, since I know these ladies and what's behind the name, I definitely get it. So unfortunately, my friends wouldn't be able to look at me and say "Butterlfy"!!!!! (little inside joke)
