Straighten your shafts easy with this tool

It works guys, with proper technique. What I'm curious about is how the straightness holds up over time.

I agree I think this is the true test. What does 25 bucks get you nowadays a couple gallons of gas.. might be worth a try on some shafts that you've written off.

I was expecting to see something like this.

Success! My shaft is straight!

Hey Dave hope the world is treating you well... I have an Audrick but that looks like a dogleg... Handle Section is Amboyna pretzelwood or something...

I have straightened shafts with this method before but without your tool so I know it can work... My question is do you think you could move the warp out of a butt with your tool???

Uhhhhhh.........................no I'm not going to say it.

Meucci should include one of these tools with every cue they sell.

I have a warped Meucci shaft that I have never had any reason to spend any time to try to straighten, It will be my test shaft when my tool arrives.

It would be interesting if the hook was somehow fitted with leather on the hook so instead of metal touching the shaft it would be leather. You could always put a piece of cloth on it I guess.

I use a piece of self stick Velcro... the loop part of course.

First of all this is only a $25 tool so we should just let the guy sell his product, and I agree that Jacoby is a fine company with an impeccable reputation.
However, this is just an Ebay link, and I think there is a big difference between stating "make your shaft perfect again" vs. take a worthless shaft, make it playable, do a lot of reconditioning to remove the grooves, and keep the contraption at least 15-feet from a collectible cue.

With that said, I may buy one>>

Stay away from my Lucasi if you do buy one.

It looks like my radaitor tool.

Snap on fall off. I'll have to try it. Radiator hose removers cost a good bit by the way.
Nick ;)

you would be suprised who has this in there tool box.
There is some work into this. the cost reflects the polishing time in these. There polished smooth so they dont scratch or cut the shaft.

If you dont want one dont get one. the negative posts are getting old find someone elses sale to bash

I received mine today. the inside of the hook is flat from the stamping process for about an 1/8th of an inch or so. leaving a corner or an edge if you will, where the flat spot meets the radius. I truly expected this to be circular....smooth round polished...
Because of this I am not going to grind it against my Meucci shaft as I had planned to originally.
I will wait to leave feedback here and on Ebay until i use it and film the process and the results.

In the mean time, does any one in the Denver area want to donate a shaft in the interest of proving or disproving that if you drag a metal bar along the length of a cue shaft with the force required to flex it enough to take a warp out, that it may or may not do more harm than good?

Yes all is true.. if you watch my video you will notice i keep the tool perpendicular to the shaft. dont be scared. the marks will come out. dont dive into it work it a little at a time.
