Imo

I think the economy is the problem also as anyone here on AZ ought to know. :( Cues have NOT been selling like they were a year ago. I used to flip cues a lot, now I pretty much have to be able to get them for almost nothing to be certain I can even move them. Pii where in Florida are you as I would like to see this cue and hit with it, and if all that worked out, is a trade of any sort of any interest to you? Thanks .....

I live in Sarasota where do you live? I'm trying to raise some cash for DCC so no trades. I really like the cue myself but figured it would move faster than some of my others. Lots of lookers. Cues are selling slower on AZ this year. I am looking for trades and cash on the SW though. ;)

If it isn't the economy what is it?

Thanks for the interest but please lets not turn this thread into fight about the economy.:grin-square:

Excuses again
You're right that some people are taking advantage of a a weak economy to get some better deals, but that opportunity would not be there if the economy wasn't hurting in the first place. I don't think that the masses have got together to form an alliance in order to achieve lower prices :grin-square:

Beautiful cue, Pii. Your price is very fair. And hey, at least the debates about the economy give you some free bumps? :D

nahhhh

Can't get a fight outa me about that for sure, and FOR sure not here. :D

I'm over Miami/Hollywood Way. And I would want to trade, but not for a southwest :p I have a REAL pretty Murnak 4x8 you COULD live in, or at least tote lunch, dinner, and a change of clothes in, and the cues listed in my signature line and one more Petree I might consider trading. I do want to find a ST though as the only one I hit with, just wasn't for me and I want to see another. My Mason, is not for trade or sale. :p Have fun at DCC and thanks for the quick response

Good point!

People aren't getting together to achieve lower prices but there is something called "consumer confidence" and right now their doesn't seem to be much. Couple that with deflation (which is basically everyone waiting for a deal) and your Sugar Tree will go unsold.

Now prove me wrong and buy this cue:thumbup:

I can remember not that long ago when any cue with the name Sugar Tree on it was selling like hot cakes, day in and day out!

morning bump
Anyone feel like a raffle
opps looks like i didn't hit the post button, it's early

Maybe people have realized you can't go out and buy a blank, put some nice rings on it and a name, and get 10 times your money .

Thanks for nothing Jim you're a real stand up guy.

Seriously Did you really need to say that? Most cues don't cost anywhere near what they sell for to make.
I'm betting your Joint protectors have a mark up. How much is it?

I've had a lot of SP's and Eric's have hit better than any other make I've owned.

I guess those rings do something!

Bump

Most of his cues are not just bought blanks. I know a lot of his "Sneakies" are his own wood and he sends them out. Until you hit with a Sugar Tree you couldnt possibly appreciate the craftsmanship.

I think a reasonably priced raffle for this cue would go quite quick.

I was kind of hoping plshrk22 would finish first. I think it would be about 16.00 a spot

totally out of line....
