Drawing is tonight and there are two people left to pay, me hopes this happens tonight!!!
hangemhigh is the only one left to pay. Where r u hangemhigh? Lets get this thing done tonight. Send in the cash.

This is a perfect example of an underlying problem in how raffles are run. The operator has asked, cajoled, begged, for almost 3 weeks now to get his raffle filled. I was the first one to pick two spots back on the 22nd. of December. He was grateful then, but has lost his perspective now. This raffle filled up the day before a drawing, and he is ready to move someone off who has patiently waited 3 weeks for him in one day. It does not matter if the drawing is held today or 4 days from now, but pressure will be brought and he will no longer control his raffle. No sooner than the raffle was full, he was asking for alternates instead of showing the same courtesy his participants have shown him. I have been in many raffles, never held one up, my money is good. I can tell you this will be the last one by this operator I participate in.

This is just MY opinion...If it were me....if it was MY raffle. In THIS instance since NOBODY knew when this thing would get filled, if ever....I would simply just say that we were using the powerball number from the NEXT one...not todays. And yes, I was pretty suprised when it filled up at the last minutes..since it had been over 2 weeks since I had paid for my spot. Im glad it filled up, and wish everyone luck, but I for one can wait till the next drawing, not sure if anyone else can though.
I try to appease the masses and you are the only one that has not paid. I asked for payment after the first 20 Spots had been filled. That was a week and a half ago. Now if you choose not to participate in anymore of my raffles thats fine, no feelings hurt. I do not think that I have done anything wrong.
Its all good...It was just suprizing to see this get filled up so fast after 2 weeks of no activity. Honestly, the only way I knew it was filling up so fast is I subscribed to the thread, and was getting 10 or so emails a day...so I was keeping track.....
Maybe THAT should be a requirement and may stop some confusion....Subscribe to the Thread when you enter the raffle....just a thought

Thats a pretty good idea actually. I was not trying to get on Hangemhigh and make enemies at all. I am good for my word also and if someone paid and this raffle for some reason didnt go off, I would have refunded everyones money. That is why I asked for payment after 20 Spots had filled.

I was also surprised that it suddenly filled and I have no problem waiting for the next drawing. If my number comes up though I will kill myself by doing this:banghead:
Oh and I don't feel plshrk22 has done anything wrong. He did ask for payments a while back. If you choose not to pay at that time (like me) and don't follow along then don't be surprised when you get left behind.
On the other hand Hangemhigh as been in many raffles and has a very good rep as well and I think would pay up later even if we had the drawing and lost. But can you imagine the crap that would happen if he was to win while not having payed?
