Super Billiards Expo - AZB Check Point

Are you going to the 2010 Super Billiards Expo, March 18-21?

That would be a good idea, but last year, when reading the info sent to us, we found they didn't allow sticker and such, probably because people are not responsible with them and they stick them all over everything and make more work. Also, name tags could easily be worn by anyone, if they wanted to make one up. (Obviously, I wouldn't suggest sticky-back tags, tho.) Anyway, if you are looking for one particular person, a photo to get their pic in your head is still rather helpful, even if they had a nametag on.

I took my AZB key chain and on the back wrote "Jackson" and put it on a long chain to wear 'round my neck - voila!!!

Last year, I made a necklace that said JesPiddlin across the front, but I don't think anyone noticed it, except a young girl at a restaurant we stopped at, on our way back home. It's not big, but it has those letter beads on it. I used some of that thin elastic rope, so I could just slide it over my head and go. I'll probably wear it again, this year.

This is great. I"m so glad to see that so many people are planning to be there! Anyone else going to the Expo?

I'm glad the 14.1 is going to be right near us. That should keep us from getting bored, if there's ever a lull in the day.

I won't be there :( bummer it has always been such a great event for us.
This economy stinks!!!

Guess i am gonna have to be there since Charlie and I are running the 14.1 Challenge Booth.

this is a monumental chance to bring 14.1 back into the forefront.

Stop on by say hello, give it a try !

we are also raffling off a cue made by Pete Tonkin for $10 per ticket, so what the heck buy a few tickets. this may be a cheap way of owning a great cue !!

look forward to meeting you all !
Steve

Steve,
What is the 14.1 challenge? Im guessing just paying out highest run, but can you give details?

lol I'll be there I hope I dont hit one pool ball the whole time. Last year I only played pool one time.

The reason the show came to an end is because the hotel sent security to tell me to stop the show the size of the crowd was creating a fire hazard...lol

This is one of my all time biggest complements...

I won't be there but my book will be there. I'll have signed copies at one booth for sure and possibly two booths. How many of you aree interested in purchasing one of them? I'd like to know so I can figure on the amount to send.

as always

I'll be there all day Fri, Sat, and Sunday.

Hope to meet as many of you as I can.

I will be watching the men's pro event a good bit of that time

Phillies hat, beard, possibly a Drexeline Billiards Club tee.

See Ya All There !

i'll be there. Finally get to meet you guys!!

We are really looking forward to finally meeting you, Jamie. When are you getting into town? Driving, passengering (is that a word?), taking a bus, or flying?

BTW, I REALLY like the 8 ball in your avatar. Where can I get one of those?

SBE 14.1 Challenge

Steve,
What is the 14.1 challenge? Im guessing just paying out highest run, but can you give details?

cleary:

Didn't see a reply to this, and I'm not sure if Steve (or his brother Charlie) PMed you with the details you needed, but you can find out more about the 14.1 Challenge in the "14.1 Pool" forum.

There are several threads that discuss it (anything with "SBE 14.1 Challenge" in its name), including the original "grassroots" thread that gathered support and sponsorship for the idea in its infancy:

Hope this is helpful,

We have only 79 people listed. Is that all? We had about 99 listed, last year. And, I thought more people were planning to go this year, than last year...???

Okay... Who didn't vote???

Renee...As usual I'll be there all four days. Normally I would be found in the Stealth booth, but they're not coming this year, so I'll be wandering around. I have a few lessons scheduled, but I'll make it around and see everyone! See you in a couple of weeks.
