SVB rumor

Heard a couple of rumors about Shane this past week that I would like to find out if they are true or not.

1. I heard that Pat Diveney (Pat Diveney Custom Cues)(http://www.diveneycue.com/index.html) is making a cue for Shane to use full time. Kind of like a sponsorship deal. I don't know the details, but a couple of people from this area say that they have been to Pat's shop and seen this cue that he is making for Shane. Anyone heard that one?

2. Also heard that because of this deal with Pat, Shane will be appearing at the ISPA State tourny in Davenport, IA. He is going to have a table where you can pay $5 and play Shane. That would be cool if this is true. Can anyone who knows Shane clear any of these up for me> Thanks.

Pat and SVB would be a mutually beneficial pairing. Pat's cues are top-notch and none can deny that SVB is also found there. Hope it comes to fruition, for both of them.

i'm going to bed now been up since 3am, i'm still on german time, i will call you tomarrow afternoon. I played Jay Helfert some 9 ball banks today, i just had a HUGE back operation and playing was brutal, but I was suprised how well I played all things considered, I got my nuts shot off but I did win 1 game the final total was 5-1 or 4-1, i think it was 5-1. Jay played ok, i'm glad to see he isnt taking much action his game is just to choppy these days. he can beat me anytime but against a good player i dunno . Man is he gonna be pissed when he reads this.

It was when I heard Shane tell Cliff "We'll play some one pocket tommorow." when we were all sitting around at Shooters tonight. No promises but I know a couple guys who might stream it for free on Ustream if it goes off.

Shane wanted cash -from all cuemakers wouldn't you expect the same

Well something must of happened since (the derby) I though shane was going to get paid by cuetech- Any cuemaker would jump, Shane wants a Joss from Danny Janes! Can you believe Danny said no. Jacoby offered at the derby to build a special cue! And another cuemaker at the derby wanted to have a line of cues. It has to be a deal with cash or cues for shane to sell- He's considered a world champion - sponsorship is all about the cash. mark
